    SPECIFICATION FOR AN IEC 61850-COMPATIBLE TELEPROTECTION

    SYSTEM

    1.- ABSTRACT COMMUNICATION SERVICE INTERFACE (ACSI) SERVICES

    The teleprotection system shall provide the following ACSI services with the specifiedprofiles (see IEC 61850-7-2 ver. 1.0) and a PICS file specifying the degree ofconformance statement;

    1.1.- GOOSE messages

    Application Association Model: Multicast

    Application profile (A-profile): According to IEC 61850-8-1 Annex AServer

    Transport profile (T-profile): IEEE 8802-3 frames with priority tagging and VLANidentifier (IEEE 802.1Q)Server and publisher

    Physical medium: 100Base-Fx with MT-RJ connector

    Performance class (according

    to IEC 61850-5 section 13.7):

    Type 1A, class P2/P3 (3 msec)

    1.2.- Time synchronization

    Application Association Model: Two-party or Multicast

    Application profile (A-profile): Simple Network Time Protocol, modes 3 & 4implementedSubscriber

    Transport profile (T-profile): ICMP over UDP/IP, ARPSubscriber

    Physical medium: 100Base-Fx with MT-RJ connector

    Performance class (accordingto IEC 61850-5 section 13.7):

    Type 6, class T1 (1 msec)

    1.3.- Buffered Control Block Report / Unbuffered Control Block Report

    The teleprotection system shall provide at least one of the two types of control blockreport, with the following profile;

    In this Logical Node the variables LosOfGrd (Loss of Guard), GrdRx (Guardreceived), SchTyp (Scheme Type) and OpDlTmms (Operate Delay Time) shall bemandatory.

    3.- DOCUMENTS AND FILES

    The manufacturer of the Teleprotection IED shall provide at least the followingdocuments (according to IEC 61850-10);

    - ICD (IED Capability Description)- PICS (Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement)- PIXIT (Protocol Implementation Information for Testing)- TICS (Technical Issue Conformance Statement)

    4.- ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY

    The Teleprotection device shall comply with the following standards: ANSI C37.90.1and ANSI C37.90.2.
