I am glad to learn that EEPC INDIA, formerly Engineering Export Promotion Council is organising a three-day India Engineering Sourcing Show in Mumbai from January 22, 2014.

This show will be a unique platform for exhibiting India’s capabilities and expertise in the engineering sector. It is a matter of pride that Karnataka is making its presence in the show as Partner State.

In the recent years, Indian engineering industry has made rapid strides in development and modernization of manufacturing facilities, offering world class engineering products.

A show of this magnitude will provide unique opportunities for Karnataka to promote investment and project – the strong industrial base and highly developed infrastructure.

We had a good number of visitors at our stall. There were about 150 visitors, which included overseas buyers. They showed great interest in our manufactured components. We have already started to get inquiries for our products and hope to start business with these companies. Till date we have received inquires form three companies and started working on the same. We thank EEPC for providing financial support for member companies. We wish great success to EEPC in such forthcoming events.”

“The ambience, cleanliness, arrangements of conferences and B2B, and registration were very remarkable. The three days were full of professional business events. The exposure of various items and agencies sup-porting industrial growth was the key element which did not make the show monotonous.

We had visitors in various categories. The total visitors who showed interest were 70. The breakdown is as under: Traders/business houses: 36; End customers/users: 19; Export leads: 14 (Turkey, Italy, Zambia, Ghana, Oman, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Romania, South Africa, Ethiopia & Nepal); International clusters: 1 (Mechatronics – Italy)

Apart from the above there were advertising agencies and general visitors: 5 and prospective suppliers: 12. The event will certainly help us in creating brand awareness.

We had discussions with other co-participants as well and there was quite a bit of learning from various Government pavilions about the schemes available to SMEs.”

“It was indeed a pleasure to participate at the IESS 2014 for exploring business opportunities and to identify potential buyers. It was our first experience at IESS and to inform you that I had a overwhelming response. I had more than 150 visitors at my stall and I met a number of potential buyers from wide appli-cation such as diesel engines, electrical, valves, machine tools, compressors, general application, etc. We have over 50 enquirers for gray iron and ductile iron castings for both export as well as domestic market. We are hopeful to convert atleast 10 enquires into potential orders from diversified sectors. The participa-tion of multinational company’s was very beneficial to us to explore business opportunities with them. The B2B sourcing show meeting with Kubota, Claas, Danfoss and Inverto helped me in a good way to gener-ate business and I am happy to inform you that we already got a inquiry from one of the company and very soon it will be converted into orders in good volumes.
