• Development and support of innovativeness and creativity of the students by offering interdisciplinary education and special courses focusing on the development of innovation-related skills. • Strong industrial orientation of the studies, focused on pulp and paper, fine chemicals and metallurgical industries. The programme is supported by lecturers working in above-mentionedindustries, as well as by design courses supervised by practitioners.
• Solid scientific background of education as the main topics of the curriculum correspond to the main research fields of the Department.
• Internationalisation of the studies ensured by the participationof the international lecturers from leading European universities.
• Special focus on the communication skills needed in the working environment, to be ensured by special courses.
