I would feel exhausted, because I would spend a lot of time in the

same room, I would feel angry too because I wouldn’t have time

Yes, I would,because it would help me do the degree that I want,

(computer engineering) but It’s too hard to study so much.

-Why do we go to school? What is education for?

We go to school to study and prepare ourselves for the future. I

think that education is good to improve ourselves in everything,

because if you have a good education you will have a good future.

-Are there things you should not learn at school, but should learn

from your family and friends? For example, who should teach you

about politics/sex/education/how to deal with money/religion/the

risks from smoking or taking drugs?

I think that things such as not to take drugs and not to smoke

should have been learned at home and other topics like sex,

politics,education and how to deal with money should have been

learned at school, because they are going to give you better

advice at school.

-What makes a good school?

I think that a good school is made by a good management team, good teachers and good facilities.

Computer games: a hobby or an addiction?

In these last years

we can see that

some children like to

stay at home and

play videogames

with their friends.I

personally think that

it’s a hobby, I

usually stay at home

playing games and

it’s funny. But you

can’t stay at home

playing games all

the time, what I do

is to play for 1 or 2

hours and then

hang out with my

friends. I think that

video games can

affect a person

positively because

when playing you

gain reflexes, but

there are also bad

effects like wasting

money in a game

that is not

interesting for you. I

think that being

addicted to

videogames is bad,

but I think that it’s

worse to be

addicted to

cigarettes, alcohol

or shopping. I think

that it would be very

hard to give up

playing games

because you are not

doing a bad thing to

anybody and maybe

because you are

very hooked .

Computer game addicts

Some people are

addicted to video

games. It looks like

a hobby but it isn’t

a hobby. It could

affect your

relationships , your

personal health and

your mental health

too.

It could cost you too

many hours of your

life. For example

some people waste

days and months just

playing a game called

League of Legends.

It’s an MOBA game and

it’s online so... But

in my opinion it’s

not as bad as drugs

or cigarettes because

they extremely affect

your health and the

future too. League of

Legends is my weak

point, it’s the game

I mentioned before.

It is a very very

very addicting game,

but I can control

when to play and not

to do it.

OLDER MOM NOT SO BAD

mother on child development.The

researchers conclusion? “The overall

effect of 1st-year maternal

employment on child development is

neutral.” In other word, the benefits

balance with the negatives.

But the positive effects of working

mothers are more than the negatives.

Working mothers had more money,

they look after the child better and with

much interest, the study found, working

moms showed more

“maternalsensitivity,” or they are more

responsible toward their kids.

FOOD AND HEALTHI think that banning drinking alcohol in public places is normal because most of the people who drink there drink without control and

most of them are teenagers. If we drink in public places the alcohol we drink is bought in sweet shops and it’s so bad for the bars. I think that it is normal to

drink when you are 18 years old. It’s not normal to drink before driving because it could interfere your attention from the road. At football matches it is

normal to drink and smoke I think, it’s an open space. I think that it’s not rare to drink or smoke on television, in the movies it is the same and they don’t say anything to them. At school

it’s not moral to drink or smoke because of the air contamination. In restaurants it’s normal to smoke but in special smoker places. Alcohol could make you stupid and having a stupid

attitude while you are drunk. And it could affect to your brain with the time. It could work wellfor the relationships but drink with moderation.

I think that it’s a good idea because there are kids in

those places and those kids have nothing in common with

the people who drink.

car? on television? at football matches? at school? in

restaurants?

I think that it’s acceptable when you are 18 or more and

you go to a party or to a pub with your friends. I think that

it’s unacceptable when you drink more than what you

need to get drunk. People shouldn’t drink before driving a

car, on television,on a football match or in a school, but I

think that you can drink alcohol in a restaurant.

-What effect does alcohol have? Is it something that helps

people relax and enjoy themselves, or is it a dangerous

thing that causes anti-social behaviour?

The effects of the alcohol can be different depending of

the amount of alcohol that you drink, If you don’t drink so

much, alcohol could relax you and you could have a good

time but if you drink too much you could probably have a

bad time.

Potatoes, mozzarella, rosemary, thyme & tomato pizza topping

A rustic Italian favourite

6 tablespoons tomato sauce 4 new potatoes, cooked 1 small handful fresh rosemary leaves 1 teaspoon thyme tips extra virgin olive oil lemon juice salt freshly ground black pepper 50 g mozzarella

Jamie's Italy Recipe

Smear the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base. Slice the potatoes into 0.5cm/¼ inch thick slices and toss in a bowl with the rosemary, thyme, a good lug of olive oil, a small squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper. Scatter them over the pizza base and put small torn-up pieces of mozzarella into the gaps. Cook until crisp and golden.
