• Major structural changes started in mid-1990s

• 1995 - changed the structure of its academic qualifications

• Established a 2-level qualification system - Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees

• 2007 – ECTS was introduced in Master’s programmes

• 2010 - …. in Doctoral education

• 2010 – Educational component was introduced in Doctorate with intermediate Researcher’s degree
