We have some awesome special events planned this month, including a club-wide Mardi Gras party, a poetry open mic, African drumming, and of course St. Patrick’s Day activities for all age groups. Check out the backside of this newsletter for more details on these and the age-specific activities we have planned. All Hands in NH will be volunteering their time to plan age-appropriate activities that will include creating a Club recycling program, educating members about recycling and their impact on the environment, and planting both a hydroponics garden and a hanging garden. As part of these activities, Club members will learn how to use the garden’s produce to make a snack, such as fresh salsa, and truly understand the term ‘farm to table.’ For more details, please see Shell our STEM Director. Don’t forget to set your clocks forward on March 10 th … it’s time to spring forward! Sincerely, Jennie Pappas Program Director BGCM Buzz

    THE

    Spring into March

    Dear Families:

Recent weather and snow make it seem like Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction was wrong, but nevertheless, March 20th and the first day of spring is right around the corner!

We have some awesome special events planned this month, including a club-wide Mardi Gras party, a poetry open mic, African drumming, and of course St. Patrick’s Day activities for all age groups. Check out the backside of this newsletter for more details on these and the age-specific activities we have planned.

I also wanted to introduce a new Club program that is beginning in March: Recycling Club!

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward on March 10th … it’s time to spring forward!
