DRAGONCON IN DOWNTOWN
ATLANTA INFORMATION The annual conventions will be held at
five host hotels: the Hyatt Regency
Atlanta, Atlanta Hilton, Sheraton Atlanta,
Atlanta Marriott Marquis and the Westin
Peachtree Plaza Hotel and at America’s
Mart. The annual parade, a major
highlight of the convention, will begin at
10 a.m. Saturday, September 2nd on
Peachtree Street. Click here for a map of
road closures and blocks during the
parade. If you take Marta, the best stop is
Peachtree Center Station. Marta said that
extra trains will run Saturday morning for
the parade and rest of the day’s events.
The recommended stations are Civic
Center, Peachtree Center and Five
Points. Parking can be an issue during
the weekend. However, DragonCon has
partnered with Parking Panda, that allows
visitors to search and reserve parking
before the trip or on the go with real-time

BIKE VALET SERVICE
Atlanta sports fanatics looking to offset the cost
of tickets will soon have a free option for getting
to games at the city’s gleaming new arena.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium has teamed with the
Atlanta Bicycle Coalition to provide a free bike
valet service for anyone attending Atlanta
Falcons’ games and Atlanta United matches.
The service, operated by Two Wheel Valet, will be available starting two hours before kickoff and then ending an hour after games. Officials stressed that bicyclist’s need only to pedal up to the valet (located at the main gate, 1414 Andrew Young International Boulevard NW) and drop off their wheels, with no pre-booking or app-downloading required. A few more specifics on how the process will work, as outlined in a press release: “The valet will utilize a digital check-in service for cyclists to quickly and efficiently check their bikes in. When dropping off their bikes, cyclists simply provide their phone number, and they will be sent a text that includes a secure claim ID and the time that the valet will close. Helmets, lights, bags, and locks can all stay on the bikes, making bike parking easy, fast, and secure.” ABC officials have mapped out optimum bicycle
routes to Mercedes-Benz Stadium which make
use of new bike paths and lanes throughout the
city.

Samuel Bibanga joined Portman Management Company in April of 2016 as Lead Security Officer. He enjoys interacting with all of the business professionals here at SunTrust Plaza & Garden Offices. In addition to working for Portman Holdings he works for Dynamex, a courier company, as an independent contractor. Prior to that, he worked in SunTrust Plaza as a contractor with Arko Security and Delta Global Services. Samuel is a part of a team of six other officers who work diligently to ensure the safety of the tenants and property. He serves as a principal source of information on rules and procedures governing security, parking operations and other building related incidents relative to the safety of the tenants. Samuel and his wife Agnes have three sons; Daniel, Mark, Yann and one grand-son. His son Daniel is married and works for Delta airlines, Mark is married and works for an IT company and Yann serves his country in the US Army. During Samuel’s free time he enjoys spending quality time with his family, yard work and traveling abroad.
