Design work is completed and accepted by Airports Authority of India. Tender Documents being prepared, Construction Supervision will be undertaken once the Tenders are finalized and work awarded. M/s India Aviation Consulting & Support LLP are associated for all “ Terminal Systems like IT, FIDS, AFAS, BHS, Security Equipment etc.”.

Airport Architectural Services Maafaru Airport. - M/s Panjiyar & Associates

The new green field International Airport at Maafaru Island (Noonu Atoll), master planning by M/s India Aviation Consulting & Support LLP, providing 2200 m Runway, Taxiways, Apron, Service roads & Airfield Lighting System to accommodate and provide all services to the Airbus A320-200 / B 737-900 acft. (Cat 4C type aircraft)

M/s Panjiyar Associates Designed the 1200 sqm Passenger Terminal with a peak hour flow of 200 passengers, Aircraft Hangar, Cargo Building, other ancillary structures. The fully air-conditioned Passenger Terminal is well equipped with basic modern passenger facilities and handles domestic as well as international flights.

New International Passenger Terminal Building at Trichy Airport, Tamilnadu – M/s Behal Joshi Panjiyar & Associates


The New Integrated Passenger Terminal building was inaugurated on February 29, 2009. The two Storey terminal building is designed to handle a peak hour flow of 400 passengers, covers approximately an area of 12,000 sqm. The fully air-conditioned terminal building is well equipped with all the modern passenger facilities and handles 10 domestic as well as some international flights in a day.

A separate service block catering to the back up electrical requirements as well as central air-conditioning plant is provided. The building has been designed as a true gate way to the temple city of Trichy and has three distinct entrances as Gopurams. Ample parking space have been provided for about 400 cars, 100 taxis and 10 buses.

Integrated Passenger Terminal Building at Madurai Airport, Madurai, Tamilnadu – M/s Behal Joshi Panjiyar & Associates


The New Integrated Passenger Terminal building was inaugurated on 12th Sept., 2010. It covers an area of 18,000 sqm. and handles passenger capacity of 250 each on arrival and departure. The building has three aero bridges and all the facilities expected of a modern airport. Centrally air-conditioned building is supported by an independent service building which is connected to the main terminal building by a walk through tunnel, locally available granite has been used extensively in flooring and cladding which has blended well with the over all ambience.

Domestic Passenger Terminal Building at Biju Patnaik Airport, Bhubaneswar, Orissa – Architect - M/s Behal Joshi Panjiyar & Associates


Biju Patnaik Airport belongs to the Airports Authority of India. Bhubanewar is the capital city of Orissa and it is located in the Eastern coastal region of Orissa. The new domestic Passenger Terminal Building under construction would cater to a total of 800 passengers at peak time and covers an area of around 20,000sqm. The new terminal building is provided with three aero bridges. The car parking capacity anticipated is around 250 cars and 100 taxis in addition to 10 buses with driver’s amenities and canteen facilities. The existing building will continue to co-exist in its present form. It has been decided to develop the existing building as an international terminal building.
