Introduction - 12th Agricultural Science Congress

India’s premier agriculture summit 12th “Agricultural Science Congress” has legacy of over two decades and is organised by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS). The 12th edition of Agricultural Science Congress (ASC) will be hosted by the prestigious National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal from 3rd-6th February, 2015. Considering the importance of subject, the theme of the 12th ASC has been aptly chosen as “Sustainable Livelihood Security for Smallholder Farmers”. The congress will provide vibrant platform for discussing and exchanging views on contemporary topics in Indian Agriculture like the Crop and Vegetable Production, Animal, Poultry and Fish Production Systems and related Social Science issues. The congress will consist of International Conference, Tradeshow (ASC India Expo), Award Function, etc.
