Bei Raffstoren vor Fluchtwegen(Türen oder Fenster) muss derBehang in Notfallsituationenschnell den Weg freigeben. BeimVeltrup Notraffsystem wird dazunur ein Hebel oder Seilzug betä-tigt, damit die Seilabspannung an den Spannwinkeln mit Hilfevon Bowdenzügen und einemspeziellem Klemmmechanismusim Spannwinkel automatisch frei-gegeben wird. Dabei wird der Behang nicht beschädigt undkann anschließend wieder in denUrsprungszustand gebracht wer-den. Neben dem Notraffsystemkönnen objektbezogen weitereindividuelle Lösungen für Flucht-wege umgesetzt werden.

Where blinds are placed in front of escape routes (doors or windows), they must not blockthis route in the event of anemergency. With the Veltrupemergency retraction system, a simple pull on a handle or cableautomatically releases the securing cable on the brackets,through the use of Bowdencables and a special clampingmechanism in the bracket. The blinds are not in any way damaged during this process andcan afterwards be returned totheir original position. Veltrup skylight awnings forlarge glass surfaces functionaccording to the counter-tractionprinciple. When the awning isextended, the fabric is unrolledfrom the roller tube under optimum tension and the endbar pulled out. Electrical operation is by a space-saving,220 V tubular motor. The endbar is located in a round guide

rail made from extruded aluminium with a groove for theend bar carriage and chambersfor the concealed pulley. If required, the blinds can besecured against the wind by anadditional horizontal bar. Thetracks can also be curved foruse with barrel-vaulted roofs orsloped vertical systems.
