COMPANY BACKGROUND

Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) or PUSAKA established in June 1973

OBJECTIVE

To formulate policies and strategy towards promotion of the timber industry

To develop economical forest resources To create new concepts harvesting of the

state's forest resources will be fairly and equitably shared

To enable the State Government to have an instrument for the formulation, co-ordination and implementation of the overall timber industry development strategies
