Missing Items

From time to time items get misplaced, go out with the laundry, and clothing returns from laundry without the name label it left with. If you notice that an item or article of clothing is missing here are the steps you can take.

Fill out a missing item form located near each nursing station and on the information rack just off of town square.

Report the missing item to staff

If you have not heard if the item was found after one week of reporting it missing, con-tact the Social Work Department at 402-591-4869.

It is also helpful to notify staff when bringing new items into the facility so that they can get added to the member’s inventory sheet. Thank You.

Paul Thober, LCSW Certified Master Social Worker

Employee of the

Month

August 2017

Kenny Dupell

Food Service Leader

Ken has exhibited outstanding job perfor-

mance and responsibility while performing

many duties as lead cook for the Dietary de-

partment. His willingness to help others, wher-

ever the need is required and a consistent posi-

tive attitude while demonstrating professional-

ism does not go unnoticed. Ken is always striv-

ing to improve his skill sets and leadership abili-

ties and in doing so is a great role model. He

has taken the time to teach and encourage

lesser experienced cooks for success. Ken has a

high level of proficiency in handling any task

assigned. His craving for perfection and humble

attitude creates a harmonious environment. He

leads by example and has 21 years of service

and dedication. Ken’s team player attitude and

the numerous overtime shifts he completes

helps keep the department running smooth.

The morning cooks appreciate when Ken fills in

for breakfast and lunch, which allows them to

enjoy a day off. Several times during the week

Ken makes homemade bread from scratch. The

member’s absolutely love his bread. He wel-

comes feedback when trying different varieties.

This is a tradition he started several years ago.

Ken’s bread gets better and better!

There was an amazing array of fireworks to enjoy on Monday night, July 3.

Thanks to the generous donation from Wild Willy’s!! All the fireworks were brought to the

Home by Ron & Marlene Ingram (AL & ALA Post #32 Papillion). Thank you!

Many members and their families sat outside to enjoy the show as seen above.

ENVH hosted an open house which included music,

fire dancers and lunch. It was a hot day but filled

with fun things to do. Plenty of shade for those

who came to enjoy the anniversary party.

Looking forward to the next 10 years!

Have you ever received a note of thanks or word of thanks from some-one for something you did for them? Sometimes maybe it was some-thing significant and you were not sur-prised with their expression of apprecia-tion. But sometimes you may feel that what you did or contributed was so insig-nificant ("that was nothing") that you were surprised by the appreciation.

Jesus mentions that even a cup of cold water given in His name was signifi-cant. God sees the love and intention in even the smallest things that we do in our relationships with one another.

Don't underestimate the value of those little bits of love and kindness that we can show in our daily relationships.
