Puppets will be ‘Meeting and Greeting’ visitors along the High Street, andthere will be a static Dragon act opposite the Town Hall. Join in with thescarecrow puppet making workshops in the Grove Centre which will takeplace throughout the day. Take part in ‘Up Against the Wall’ in theNewlands Centre, an opportunity to add to a collective artwork ofmarvellous proportions. A full programme of smaller puppetry will takeplace in Witham Library, 18 Newland Street throughout the day.

The ‘Puppet Festival window display’ competition for the town centrebusinesses will be on the theme of ‘Dragons’.There will be a ‘spot thedragon logo’ competition for the younger age group, details can be obtainedfrom the Councillor’s Stall in the Grove Centre on Puppet Festival Day.

Once again Cofunds is delighted to support Witham Town Council with thesponsorship of Titan the Robot.
