Can you imagine a better future for wildlife? A time when humans and wild animals can coexist peacefully? IWC is thought for the conservation and restoration of African Wildlife in Kruger National Park. Much of what threatens the future of wildlife and our society stems from a profound lack of imagination about the years to come, about how our daily actions and decisions affect and shape the future. We tend to ignore the rich lessons of the past and sometimes it is neces- sary to look behind to move forward. Can you imagine a better future for wildlife? A time when humans and wild animals can coexist peacefully? IWC is thought for the conservation and restoration of African Wildlife

in Kruger National Park.

Much of what threatens the future of wildlife and our society stems from a profound lack of imagination about the years to come, about how our daily actions and decisions affect and shape the future. We tend to ignore the rich lessons of the past and sometimes it is neces-

sary to look behind to move forward.

That’s why IWC is inspired by the disposal of a traditional African Village, the habitual method of the settled life there.

IWC 1090INTERNATIONAL WILDLIFE CENTER

The system is composed of different inhabitable units based in the Wigwam frame because of their sustainable and easily prefabricated

construction characteristics. It is the reinterpretation of tradition looking for a geometrical image and pure shapes, a modern sustainable shelter that

can be installed in difficult terrains.

The Wigwam comprises a wooden frame, covered in slatted wooden panels that are angled to keep out the rain, and can be fold to allow

natural ventilation. Furthermore, it employs a textile net inside of the cabin that prevents the access of insects and generates a fireplace effect.
