JRNP

This is journal printer problem. This is the important part of a ATM

machine. When gating tribal in journal printer in that time ATM machine

stop. This problem occurs for many reasons like power cut off , link

problem , heard wear problem etc.

Solution

First We check the power then we check link , check heard wear or

other things.

EDC/LOG ProblemAfter Every day transaction ATMs computer store some information

about current transaction this is call EDC/LOG. Thats why ATM

computer store lots of data a day. So this EDC/LOG takes many

space. When this EDC/LOG overflow the hard disk that time ATM

machine getting problem. This problem is EDC/LOG problem.

Solution

Check EDC/LOG everyday. When you see EDC/LOG takes up to 1GB

space that time you delete the EDC/LOG.

CONCLUSION:

In this report, I specified almost all the problems that can occur in

ATM system and the ways how to solve these problems. I have

addressed the situations that happened in clients end as well as in

controlling ends. This report will work as a complete guideline for

troubleshooting any ATM problem.
