● Rotary-affiliated “youth” clubs have existed since the 1920s

● The birth of the Interact program in 1963 led to an explosion of membership in theseclubs

● Rotaract was finally adopted in 1968● The 4th & 7th Rotaract clubs

were both Australian

What is Rotaract?

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.Source: Standard Rotaract Club Constitution Article 2
