Irish Composition Summer School [38 th edition] The Irish Composition Summer School is planning an online edition in 2021! We will run from June 28th to July 9th which is slightly longer (2 days) than usual to allow more time to finalise scores for performers. Prospective participants should be composers at the early stages of their career, and students taking composition and considering it as a career. Course Directors: Dr. Martin O'Leary and Dr. Garre Sholdice Guest Director: Dr. Benjamin Dwyer (Professor of Music, Middlesex University) Performers: flute 1 -Susan Doyle, viola-Andreea Banciu, cello-Adrian Mantu Technology director: Ian Brabazon Admin: Dr John McLachlan Sponsored by the Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon Supported by IMRO—the Irish Music Rights Organisation We will oer a full day timetable that allows for composing time: the weekdays feature group seminars (mostly mornings) and individual tutorials (aernoons), with a live recording session you can aend remotely in the last days. The Irish Composition Summer School is planning an online edition in 2021!
