YELLOW SPOT 12YR SINGLE POT STILL 8.50Midleton Distillery, Cork, 46% abv This is the second addition to the ‘Spot’ range of Irish whiskies. Yellow Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey which has been matured in three types of cask: Bourbon, Sherry and Spanish Malaga, for a sweeter flavour.

GREEN SPOT SINGLE POT STILL 6.50Midleton Distillery, Cork, 40% abv A wonderful single pot still whiskey, Green Spot is fabulous stuff, and much loved by the critics. Spicy and soft with gentle bourbon oak, green wood and menthol with a creamy long vanilla finish.

JAMESON BLACK BARREL 6.00Midleton Distillery, Cork, 40% abv High proportion of Irish pot still whiskey as well as small batch grain. The result is an increased body and level of richness when compared to the core expression. It’s aged in double charred first fill bourbon casks (black barrels).

GLENMORANGIE 10 YEAR OLD 9.80The core release in the Glenmorangie range is this their 10 year old ‘Original’. Since rebranding more emphasis has been put on the ‘Original’ and less on the fact that it’s ten years old. The cask types are first fill and second fill bourbon barrels which famously come from the distillery’s own oak forest in Missouri

GLENFIDDICH 12 YEAR OLD 7.80A light, floral and soft single malt that is one of the benchmark whiskies of the Speyside region, hence its incredible popularity. Aged in both American oak and European oak casks.

HIGHLAND PARK 12 YEAR OLD 11.80One of the most complex of all standard expression whiskies. The Highland Park 12 Year Old has a little bit of everything with a characteristic heather and honey note and some well balanced peat smoke. Try it at both full strength and with a little water. It does change quite a lot, becoming very soft and floral with water.

ISLE OF JURA 10 YEAR-OLD 8.80 Jura whisky is quite unique and totally different to its neighbours on Islay. This 10 year old is the distillery’s core expression and has the characteristic briney, pine, cereal and fudge flavours. The overall impression is of an easy to drink, approachable and soft whisky. Quite the opposite of some of the more challenging whiskies from Islay.
