  • Please note that due to the ongoing Covid emergency all classes will be held online

    Our courses will help you develop speaking, reading and writing skills in a structured and gradual manner. Our teachers are Italian graduates with extensive experience and special qualifications in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language. Our courses are structured according to the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

    Our sincere hope is that not only will you enjoy learning the Italian language but that you will partake in our cultural activities and promotion of Italian culture. Our programme of events, which is momentarily taking place for the most part on-line, includes lectures, concerts and seminars.     ENROLMENT DETAILSPlease enrol online on our website www.iicdublino.esteri.it between Tuesday, 12th January and Thursday, 27th January. Payments cannot be processed by phone. The enrolment will be considered confirmed once the registration form has been duly filled and the fee has been paid. Please note that your place is not secured until you receive notification that the payment has been processed.

    Courses are held on a weekly basis. Each course consists of 15 lessons / 22.5 hours (90 minutes per lesson). Classes will have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 students each.

    Please note that a course will be confirmed only if the minimum required number will be reached.

    WHAT YOU NEED Classes will be run through Zoom, a free platform you can easily access through any device (computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone) with the following features:

    • Internet connection; • A screen large enough for you to comfortably read the material; • Built-in or plugged-in speakers, microphone and webcam.

    Zoom is available both on Apple and Android app stores. Alternatively, you can download Zoom on your computer or laptop from the website www.zoom.us You do not need to register for a Zoom account, but should you decide to register you can select the “free account” option: our teachers are all licensed so you will not need a Pro account to avail of all the features of our online classes

  • TEXTBOOKSOur language courses employ the Contatto, Nuovo Contatto, Nuovo Espresso, Nuovo Progetto Italiano and Nuovo Magari series of textbooks. Students will be advised of the correct textbook upon enrolment.

    Due to the current restrictions, assessment tests are not available. If you are not a returning student at this Institute and wish to enrol to a level different from Absolute Beginners, you should provide a valid certification or arrange a self-assessment.
