o Please ensure your child has the necessary gearincluding all clothes and property must be named.
o Students must not bring valuables to camp. Camerasare only to be brought with approval fromparents/caregivers.
o No sweets, fizzy drinks or food other than lunch for
the first day is to be brought to camp.o Parents/caregivers transporting children to camp
need to be here by 9am on Wednesday morning.o Parents/caregivers that are staying overnight will
need to bring their own sleeping gear; there arecabins with mattresses available.
o If you child requires an inhaler, please ensure they
have this with them at all times.o Any medication should be labeled clearly with
instructions and dosage and given to me for safekeeping and administering.
o Helpers travelling independently or those wishing tovisit us while at camp will find us by turning left at thegarage at Waihola on the road to Taieri Mouth. Thecamp is approx 1km along this road, turning right upthe hill. The camp buildings are clearly visible from
the road.o We plan to arrive back to school by 3:00pm on Friday
20th February,o Camp fees of $60 need to be paid prior to camp.

9:20am Depart Bal Mac in private vehicles10:05am Arrive at camp, drop gear off, orientate ourselves10:10 Morning tea (from home) Camp boundaries and rules
10:25 Group Tasks and top team12:30 Lunch (from home)1:00 Group tasks and Top team4:30 Setting up tents and free time6:30 Dinner7:30 Night programme10 Supper, teacher story, wind down and bed!
Thursday 1st April7:00 Wake up & class run (parents too )
7:30 Breakfast8:15 Make lunches and prepare for days activities9:15 Sailing and Survivor Challenge @ Lake Waihola
(2 groups, we will swap over around 12.00 when studentswill be able to have lunch)
3.00pm Return from Sailing & Survivor4:15 Free time/5:30 Down time6:30 Dinner7:15 Camp concert10:00 Supper and zzzzzzzzzzz
Friday 2nd April7:00 Wake up7:30 Breakfast8:00 Make lunch & get organized for day tramp. Including
packing up and all cleaning. Leave bags in hall area.9:00 Depart for Millennium Track This walk will take us about 6
hours return.3.00 Return from walk and collect gear before leaving for Balmac
Final pack up & return to school
4-4.30pm Return to school
