Replacing Your Outdated Podcast (Removing Dr. Laura Media Center)

Dr. Laura’s move to Sirius Radio required that we create a new podcast and remove The Dr. Laura Media Center. Your old podcast version may be creating some problems for your computer and prevent you from listening to Dr. Laura’s shows. Use the following steps to update your podcast.

1. Open your Control Panel by clicking Start > Control Panel.

 

2. Open Programs and Features.

 

3. Right-click The Dr Laura Media Center, and then select Uninstall/Change.

 

4. Click Yes when asked if you are sure that you want to delete the directory. NOTE: The list no longer includes The Dr Laura Media Center.

5. Close the Control Panel window. 6. Open your Web browser and navigate to www.drlaura.com. 7. In the Dr. Laura Family Members Plus! area, click iTunes Podcast.

 

8. In iTunes, note that you have two podcasts for Dr. Laura. The new podcast is titled, “Dr Laura On Demand” and the old podcast is titled, “The Dr. Laura Podcast.”

 

9. Double-click Dr Laura On Demand to view the episodes in this podcast.

 

10. Click GET ALL to start downloading all previous episodes.

 

11. Click All Podcasts to return to the previous page in iTunes.

 

12. Click The Dr. Laura Podcast, and then click Unsubscribe.
