General information You have acquired qualification and/or professional experience as a canyon guide and you are willing to integrate ICOpro without having to follow the whole training course? ICOpro does consider your living experience and offers specific courses that allow you to assert your achievements and to integrate the organization at a level of competence that matches your experience and/or degrees. These courses are called International Validation of Skills (IVS). You are invited to carefully read the needed prerequisites to each IVS and to precisely determine the type of IVS you can apply for prior to making your request. Please note that each IVS request is carefully examined and to fill up the prerequisites doesn't necessarily implies their validation. ICOpro's reputation is based on the quality level of its teachings as well as on the performance of its marketing system. Therefore to join the ICOpro's professional team necessitates to teach with due respect to the organization's standards and proceedings. All Icopro’s members must know, accept and apply those standards. Moreover ICOpro is a genuine canyoning school: Its training course is made of modules which articulate and complete one another perfectly according to a pedagogical strategy most specifically designed for canyoning. In this way ICOpro's training course is not only a simple sequence of degrees but rather a single course specifically designed and planned as a true entity with its own identity. Founded on a holistic vision of the canyoning activity that goes far beyond the mere technical knowledge this entity contents and presents all the themes related to learning canyoning in a perfectly structured and progressive manner from being a beginner to becoming a tutor. Thus, each ICOpro's ICTC is founded on those of the previous level and can only make sense in relation to them, theoretically as well as technically. Thereby in the aim of offering you the best chances possible and in order to facilitate your integration ICOpro requires from you to thoroughly master the technical and theoretical ICTC's contents of which you ask to be discharged prior to making your IVS request. Your request will not be validated if:

• The file is not fully filled and signed. • The photocopies of your certificates and other documents are not attached

to your file. • The IVS selected doesn't match your prerequisites.

The IVS request solely concerns the AIN (Instructor Assistant) and IN1 (Instructor 1) training courses.

IVS ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR: IVS/AIN

1. Main Advantage of IVS/AIN • You do not have to go through the 1-2-3 Canyoneer training course (8 days) and will save 890 Euros/$1190. • Once the ICTC validated you will assist an ICOpro Instructor during the Canyoneer Initiation Training Courses (CAI) (daily course centre) • You will then have access to the ICOpro's platform and will benefit all the advantages related to Instructor Assistants (See ICOpro Standard) • You will be able to attend the ICTC/IN1 (Instructor Training Course level 1) provided that the prerequisites are fully met.

2. Prerequisite for an IVS/AIN 6 Prerequisites needed to register to an IVS/AIN :

1. To fill in and send the IVS application form to ICOpro's offices. 2. To provide the copy of a canyoning degree (certificate, licence etc.)

that certifies your movement and equipment autonomy in a canyon v3.a3.II minimum level. Your IVS will automatically be rejected if you don't provide a canyon degree.

3. To give account for at least one professional, federal or associative season (2 months minimum) or for having guided a minimum of 50 canyoneers.

4. To succeed the 50 questions theoretical entrance test online. 5. To succeed the E-learning online for the previous teaching courses and

for the AIN. 6. You will also have to pass the ICTC/AIN entrance tests.

3. Steps to follow to validate your IVS/AIN

Step 1: Sending the documents 1. Send the IVS application form together with the copy of your

degree, certificate or licence and the documents proving your professional, federal or associative season to ICOpro Support.

You will then receive the acceptance (or refusal) of opening an IVS file. In case of acceptance you will receive a link to the test online.

Step 2: Theoretical Entrance Test Online 1. You will have to answer a 50 questions online questionnaire on the

ICOpro Canyoneer 3 level and to obtain at least 40 correct answers. The test duration is 50 minutes and it costs 50 Euros / $67 that must be paid to ICOpro via Paypal or bank transfer prior to opening the E-learning session. You are entitled to two attempts. If you haven't succeeded by the second time you must buy another session and try again (2 more attempts).

2. Once the test validated you have to send a screen shot of your validation to ICOpro Support (You will be able to find your tests' results in your profile www.icopro.org – My ICOpro – My e-learning).


3. After verification by our E-learning services you will receive ICOpro Support's answer to your IVS application form by e-mail.

Step 3: E-learning CA3 and AIN 1. Once your IVS/AIN request validated by ICOpro Support, you can

register for the IVS/AIN of your choice via www.icopro.org/schedule. 1. Once your application form will have been accepted and validated by

the Organizing Affiliated Centre (ORG) you will have to study the technical and theoretical contents of the previous training course, the level 1-2-3 Canyoneer (http://www.icopro.org/pages/canyoneer-lvl-1-2-3_14.html).

2. You will also have to study online some mandatory part of the Instructor Assistant training (E-learning) that will be assessed by your tutor during your ICTC/AIN.

3. The cost of these E-learning sessions is 975 Euros / $1305 (included the ICTC/AIN PACK payable via Paypal or bank transfer to ICOpro at the begining or prior to opening the E-learning session. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of the IVS/AIN by The center Organizer.

Step 4: Technical entrance test 1. Once you will have studied the CA123 and AIN E-learning's content and

paid the full IVS/AIN (E-learning amount deducted) you will be able to start the entrance tests by your IVS/AIN Organizing Affiliated Centre.

2. You will then draw lots for 10 techniques from the Canyoneer level 1-2-3 Manual and will have to realize them with your Examiner without any S.F.E (Security Fatal Error) and within a timing of maximum 5 minutes (or the specific timing given by the Manual for the canyoneer level 3 final tests)

3. If you fail the entrance test the amounts paid will not be reimbursed but you will be allowed to submit again and will only have to re-pay the Organizing Affiliated Centre fees, your E-learning courses being already yours.

Step 5: Clinic IVS/AIN n*1 : ICOpro's proceedings and standards

1. Once your entrance test validated your Examiner will provide you with a class regulation about the ICOpro's proceedings and standards.

2. A second regulation will also be provided about the ICOpro's equipment philosophy.

Step 6: Clinic IVS/AIN n*2 : Autonomy in a canyon 1. You will descend a maximum level 3.3.II canyon in autonomy and your

Examiner will provide you with regulations if necessary.

Step 7: ICTC AIN 1. You are now ready to start the ICTC Instructor Assistant with other

candidates.


IVS INSTRUCTOR Level 1: IVS/IN1

1. Advantages of the IVS/IN1

• You do not have to go through the 1-2-3 Canyoneer and Assistant Instructor training course (8+10days) and will save 2580 Euros/$3455.

• You will acquire the competence needed to lead the Canyoneer Initiation (CAI) (daily centre course)

• You will acquire the ability to perform as an ICOpro Centre Head Manager (HMI) or IAI (independent Affiliated Instructor)

• You will access the ICOpro platform and will benefit all the advantages related to being a level 1 Instructor (See ICOpro Standards)

• Once all the necessary prerequisites attained you will be able to subscribe to ICTC/IN2 (Instructor Training Course Level 2)

2. Prerequisite for an IVS/IN1 6 Prerequisites needed to qualify for an IVS/IN1 :

1. To fill in and send the IVS application form to ICOpro's offices. 2. To provide the copy of a professional canyoning degree (certificate,

licence etc.). Your IVS application will be automatically rejected if you don't provide a canyoning certificate.

3. To give account for a professional season (minimum of 6 months) or to have guided at least 150 canyoneers.

4. To succeed the 70 questions theoretical entrance test online. 5. To succeed the online E-learning for the previous training courses and

the IN1. 6. You will also have to pass the ICTC/IN1 entrance tests.

3. Steps to follow to validate your IVS/IN1

Step 1: Sending the documents 1. Send the IVS application form together with the photocopy of your

degree(s), certificates, licence etc. and the documents proving your professional, federal or associative season(s) to ICOpro Support.

You will receive the acceptance (or refusal) of opening an IVS file. In case of acceptance you will receive a link to the online test.

Step 2: Theoretical Entrance Test Online 1. You will have to answer a 70 questions online questionnaire on the

level 1-2-3 Canyoneer and the ICOpro AIN and obtain at least 56 correct answers. The test duration is 70 minutes and it costs 50 Euros / $67 payable to ICOpro via Paypal or bank transfer prior to opening the E-learning session. You are entitled to two attempts. If you haven't succeeded by the second time you will have to buy the test and try again (2 new attempts).


2. Once the test validated you have to send a screen shot to ICOpro Support (You will be able to find your tests results in your profile www.icopro.org – My ICOpro – My e-learning).

3. After verification by our E-learning services you will receive ICOpro Support's answer to your IVS request by e-mail.

Step 3: E-learning CA3 – AIN and IN1 4. Once your IVS/IN1 request validated by ICOpro Support, you can

register for the IVS/I1N of your choice via www.icopro.org/schedule. 5. Once your application accepted and validated by the chosen Organizing

Affiliated Centre (ORG) you will have to study online the technical and theoretical content of the previous training courses, level 1-2-3 Canyoneer and Instructor Assistant (http://www.icopro.org/pages/canyoneer-lvl-1-2-3_14.html).

6. You will also have to study online some mandatory parts of the Instructor training course (E-learning). Your skills will be assessed by your Examinor during your ICTC/IN1.

7. The cost of these E-learning is 1270 Euros/$1690 (including the PACK of the ICTC/IN1) payable to ICOpro via Paypal or bank transfer at the beginning or prior to opening the E-learning session. This amount will be deducted from the total IVS/I1N fee by the Center Organizer.

Step 4: Technical entrance test 1. Once you will have studied the CA123 and AIN e-learning contents and

paid the full IVS/IN1 cost (e-learning sessions deducted) you will be able to start your entrance tests by your IVS/IN1 Organizing Affiliated Centre.

2. You will then draw lots for 20 techniques from the Canyoneer Level 1-2-3 Manual and from the Instructor Assistant that you will have to realize with your Examinor without any S.F.E (Security Fatal Error) and within a maximum timing of 5 minutes for each of them (or the specific timing given in the final tests of the level 3 canyoneer and the AIN).

3. If you fail the entrance test the amounts paid will not be reimbursed but you will be allowed to to submit again and will only have to re-pay the Organizing Affiliated Centre fees, your E-learning courses being already yours.

Step 5: Clinic IVS/IN1 n*1 ICOpro Standard and proceedings 1. Once your entrance test validated, your Examiner will provide you with

a class regulation about the ICOpro proceedings and standard. 2. A second regulation will also be provided about the ICOpro's equipment

philosophy. 3. You will be provided with a third regulation about the working methods

as an ICOpro professional.

Step 6: Clinic IVS/IN1 n*2 Autonomy in a canyon 1. You will descend a maximum level 4.4.IV canyon in autonomy and your

Examiner will provide you with regulations if necessary.


Step 7: Clinic IVS/IN1 n*3 Professionnal in canyon 1. You will have to assist a level 1 (minimum) Instructor during a CAI

training course (daily activity and mandatory training course for all ICOpro Affiliated Centres).

2. You will be regulated by your Examiner at the end of the day if necessary.

Step 8: ICTC IN1 1. You are now ready to start the ICTC Instructor level 1 together with

other candidates.
