ARRANGED centers on the friendship between an Orthodox Jewish woman and a Muslim woman who meet as first-‐year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. Over the course of the year they learn they share much in common -‐ not least of which is that they are both going through the process of arranged marriages.
We will be serving a light Israeli supper (a la Ami) and dessert.

“OUR PARENTS, OURSELVES” Many of our congregants are part of the sandwich generation, responsible for their older parents as well as their own children. Yet, how do we know what’s best for our parents and ourselves? This program will provide adult children and senior’s essential information to help navigate the maze of options for senior care. The second part of the program will explore the challenges of helping our parents and ourselves navigate the emotional landscape of preparing for one’s senior years.
