 Hearst is accepting applications for their Journalism Fellows, who will begin in September 2015. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 9, 2015. Finalists will participate in an expenses-paid, two-day judging process in Houston in April. The goal of the Hearst Journalism Fellowships is to recruit, train and retain the next generation of journalists – top- notch multimedia professionals from a diverse pool of talented reporters, copy editors, photographers, designers and graphic artists. Those selected for the program will work one- year rotations at two sites, assigned from among the Houston Chronicle, San Francisco Chronicle, San Antonio Express-News, Albany Times Union and Connecticut Media Group.
