JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2017 Thank you for your help! Donations for The Active Life programs help us keep older adults engaged, independent and feeling like productive and contributing members of our community. As you can imagine, charging between $2 and $5 a program doesn’t cover the cost of bringing a great speaker like art teacher Wendy Evans, or offering a pottery class, line dancing or a jazz concert at the JCC. We depend solely on contributions from people like you and the generous donors who set up endowments and make it possible for us to provide seniors with such wonderful activities. If you’ve met me, you know how passionate I am about all of our programs, and I can assure you that if it were possible, I would participate in all of them right now. Our programs are ageless and appropriate for a wide age spectrum. Why can’t a 58-year-old line dance with an active 72-year-old? Why can’t a 49-year- old sit next to a 67-year-old during a pottery class or an art lecture? They can and they do! I love our programs and wish anybody would give them a try. Bring a friend. Help us promote. Hope to see you soon. JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2017

Thank you for your help! Donations for The Active Life programs help us keep

older adults engaged, independent and feeling like productive and contributing members of our community. As you can

imagine, charging between $2 and $5 a program doesn’t cover the cost of bringing a great speaker like art teacher Wendy

Evans, or offering a pottery class, line dancing or a jazz concert at the JCC. We

depend solely on contributions from people like you and the generous donors who set up endowments and make it

possible for us to provide seniors with such wonderful activities.

If you’ve met me, you know how

passionate I am about all of our programs, and I can assure you that if it were

possible, I would participate in all of them right now. Our programs are ageless and appropriate for a wide age spectrum.

Why can’t a 58-year-old line dance with an active 72-year-old? Why can’t a 49-year-

old sit next to a 67-year-old during a pottery class or an art lecture? They can and they do!

I love our programs and wish anybody would give them a try. Bring a friend. Help us promote. Hope to see you soon. Keep

warm, Noemi Herzig
