Gray’s Woods CEEL Clothing Winter weather is upon us! Please send snow clothes and boots for your child. It’s best to have an extra bag to store all of their snow gear and keep it organized. Please label all of their clothes and boots. We have found many single mittens and gloves thus far. There is a greater chance of getting them returned to you if their name is on them! Outdoor snow play: Children must have boots to walk in the snow. Otherwise they have to stay on the pavement outside. Children must wear snow pants to play in the snow. Playing in the snow makes CEEL more fun! Please send snow gear! Winter weather is upon us! Please send snow clothes and boots for your child. It’s best to have an extra bag to store all of their snow gear and keep it

organized. Please label all of their clothes and boots. We have found many single mittens and

Session 3 Description

Hoop Start:Hoop Stars is a brand NEW basketball program designed to teach children the fundamentals of the game! Classes are a mix of skills, drills and game play. Each week focuses on a new skill and some game time so players have a chance to implement what they've learned. Overall, the emphasis is on having fun in a positive environment! Lincoln Caverns-Learn about bats, caves, rocks, and fossils! Lincoln Caverns is where science, adventure, and discovery are naturally fun. Lincoln Caverns offers memorable experiences for visitors of all ages. It is located on U.S. 22 near Huntingdon. Lincoln Caverns is celebrating 85 years of providing educational and enjoyable experiences, while preserving the natural beauty and splendor of the caverns for future generations. Crazy 8's Math Club is a club unlike any other! It offers unique, high-energy math activities that appeal to kids of all math abilities. With Crazy 8's kids will build glow-in-the-dark structures, crack secret spy codes, and play games like Toilet Paper Olympics. Music FUNdamentals:"Music FUNdamentals is taught by Berklee College of Music graduate Matt Price, a local educator with over 10 years of private and group lesson experience. This class is designed to introduce students of any ability to music by focusing on empowering & inspiring individuals to express themselves authentically through collective creativity in music making. The class will consist of drumming in groups, drumming games, movement & dancing, singing & verbal music making, guitar & bass, as well as an intro to music technology & recording."

Construction Project: Using diferent contruction blocks students will be ask to build diferent projects. Academic Enrichment- Students will work on daily homework assignments, practice computer-based programs such as iXL, and advance school day skill sets. K-1; 2-5 Literacy Circle (K-2) - An opportunity for CEEL students to get lost in a good read aloud, partner read with a buddy, or relax and enjoy some silent reading. Go Noodle - You got to move it, move it! Students will kick up their feet and dance, stretch, and sing along in this popular program while enhancing their hand eye coordination and movement skills. Discovery Space- Experiment, concoct, and discover as our local children’s science museum brings their programming right to our door!

SUMMER YOUTH FAIR - Looking for summer activities for your kids? Drop by Mount Nittany Middle School for the Community Education Summer Youth Fair on Saturday, February 16th from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Join us along with more than 50 vendors to learn about area summer camp offerings. Find information about various local camps, including Community Education’s Shorts & Sports and Art in August.
