Social Media and Tragedies The study investigates the phenomenon of individuals connecting through social media amidst tragedies, and how people use technology during the grieving process to and construct understanding and meaning. Virtually Mediated Group Processes The study investigates the phenomenon of individuals connecting through social media interacting directly with the President of the United States and the process that develops to facilitate the exchange. Multicultural and Worldview This study explores how worldview mediates emotional adaptation in the clinical assessment of a sample of Russian adolescents. The goal was to examine differences in post-Soviet Russian adolescent worldviews. The purpose of the study was to operationalize the worldview construct for use in multicultural assessment. Socioeconomic status, Religion, and Mental Health This study explores the effects of religiosity and socioeconomic status on the mental health, as measured by the MMPI-2, of female African American college students. The level of religiosity is measured by the participants’ self report responses to whether they attend religious services or not and the level of their socioeconomic status is measured by their parents’ education. Behavior Problems: Genetic and Environmental Influences on Adolescents This study investigates how unstable environments impact the severity of behavior problems, particularly internalizing behavior problems such as depression, and externalizing behavior problems such as aggression, as well as relationship problems with parents and/or peers, for adolescents referred for outpatient mental health treatment. Genetic influences on adolescent behavior are also reviewed. Imagery, Identity, and Branding This study investigates the role of image in national identity. The goal is to generate a tool for scholars to bridge cultural and national identity gaps as well as provide a means for conflict resolution and consensus building. Health, Nutrition and the Influence of Augmented Reality Applications This study investigates the use of technologies such as augmented reality to deliver nutrition and health information to effect behavioral change. Collaborative Practices on Teacher Self-Efficacy This study investigates the effect of targeted collaborative practices on teacher self-efficacy as well as the approaches principals utilize to offer teachers the opportunity to participate in behaviors that influence sources of efficacy.

Acculturation Experiences and Personality Characteristics of Greek Americans This study investigates how the dimensions of heritage culture and mainstream culture identification, and four strategies of acculturation, namely integration, assimilation, separation, and marginalization, are associated with the mental health and personality characteristics of first-generation Greek-Americans.
