Inspeccione en busca de daos aparentes u ocultos causados por el transporte. Reporte cualquier dao altransportista de inmediato. Asegrese de que todas las piezas daadas sean reemplazadas y de que los problemasmecnicos sean corregidos antes de operar el compresor de aire. El nmero de serie del compresor se localiza en elcuerpo del motor. Por favor, escriba el nmero de serie en el espacio destinado para ello en la seccin de Servicio (pg.6) para futuras referencias
Siempre que utilice producto elctrico, debe observar ciertas precauciones bsicas deseguridad a fin de reducir los riesgos de incendio, choque elctrico y lesiones personales

Lea atentamente las informaciones abajo antes de iniciar cualquier trabajo con la pistola de pintura:Realice el trabajo en reas bien ventiladas. La acumulacin de solventes y tinta puede ocasionarintoxicacin, asfixia y riesgos de explosin.Trabaje con equipos de proteccin individual (EPI) correctos (guantes, gorro, mscara, lentes deproteccin, zapatos y ropas adecuadas).No realice pinturas o pulverizaciones en locales prximos a llamas, equipos elctricos o superficiescalientes.Nios y animales deben ser mantenidos lejos del rea del servicio.No coma ni fume durante la pintura.Certifquese que usted no es alrgico al producto a ser utilizado.No pulverice cidos, materiales corrosivos, productos qumicos o pesticidas sin total conocimientode como usarlos o podr sufrir problemas de salud.Esas recomendaciones de seguridad son orientadoras. 1. Localizacin: Instale/opere el compresor en un rea cubierta, bien ventilada y libre de polvo (tinta),gases txicos, humedad o cualquier outro tipo de polucin. La temperatura ambiente mximarecomendada para trabajo es de 40 C.0

3Nota:- La red de distribucin de energa no deber presentar variacin de tensin superior a 10% .- La cada de tensin propiciada por la alta de la partida no debe ser superior a 10%.- Para su seguridad, el cable flexible dispone de enchufe conexin tierra (2P + T), no lo eliminecolocando un adaptador, acoplando un plug de 2 (dos) clavijas o cortando la clavija T, pues estopuede ocasionar choque elctrico.- Los gastos de instalacin son por cuenta del cliente.

Instalacin Elctrica:
En la Tabla 1 estn los datos orientadores del conductor y del

corto circuito, la conexin a tierra reduce el riesgo de choque elctrico, a travs del cablede descarga de la corriente elctrica.

Antes de iniciar cualquier operacin, gire totalmente la pieza ranurada de la vlvulareguladora de presin en el sentido anti-horario, permitiendo as al compresor una partida sincarga.
Antes de utilizar la pistola de pintura, lea los captulos siguientes.
Conecte la manguera al compresor y la pistola de pintura o dems accesrios, conforme lanecesidad.
Para obtenerse la presin necesaria de acuerdo con el trabajo, gire la pieza ranurada de la vlvulareguladora de presin en el sentido horario (con la vlvula totalmente cerrada se alcanzar la presinmxima de 40 lbf/pulg).
Conecte el compresor a travs del interruptor (Figura 2, pg. 2).

La instalacin inadecuada de laconexin a tierra puede resultar enriesgo de choque elctrico. Si haynecesidad de substitucin o reparo delcable o del enchufe, no conecte elenchufe a tierra a un enchufe plano. Elcable cuya superficie externa es verde,con o sin rayas amarillas, es el cable deconexin a tierra. En caso de algunaduda en relacin a esta informacin, o siel producto est correctamenteconectado a tierra, consulte unelectricista calificado. No cambie elenchufe del equipo, si l no se adapta alenchufe del lugar de uso, asegure ainstalacin del enchufe correcto, hechapor un electricista calificado.

Prepare el material a ser utilizado de acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante.Suelte el vaso del cuerpo de la pistola .Abastezca 3/4 del vaso filtrando el material a ser utilizado con una media nylon femenina u otroelemento filtrante (Figura 5, pg. 5). Recoloque el vaso en el cuerpo de la pistola y apritelafirmemente.Escoja el inyector de acuerdo con el tipo de material a ser aplicado:
Para aplicar materiales de baja viscosidad,utilice el inyector para aire de chorro redondo(pieza 15R). Para ajustar el caudal y el acabamiento, gire el regulador de la aguja .
Para aplicar materiales de alta viscosidad (Ltex y otros), utilice el inyector para aire de chorroplano (pieza ) .Para ajustar el caudal y el acabamiento, gire el regulador de la aguja .

Nota: - Es normal el calentamiento del compresor y de la manguera con pocos minutos deoperacin .
- La vlvula reguladora de presin/seguridad viene regulada y lacrada de fbrica,garantizando proteccin al equipo y al usurio. El rompimiento del lacre o sueliminacin, ocasiona prdida de la garanta.
- Cuando cambiar de sitio como medida de seguridad apague el compresor.
- Apague el compresor cuando hacer limpieza, filtrar, cribar y reponer tinta en el vaso de lapistola de pintura.
- Para pintura con tinta a base de aceite, barniz o solvente sinttico donde es exigido unamejor calidad, utilice filtro aglutinador para retirar partculas y el agua condensada.
Antes de desconectar el compresor, gire totalmente la pieza ranurada de la vlvula reguladora depresin en el sentido anti horario.

Siempre que use la pistola para pintura, siga lasinstrucciones de aplicacin de preparadores de superficie,bien como de limpieza del rea a ser pintada, de acuerdo conlas instrucciones del fabricante.Conserve la pistola siempre en la posicin vertical (Figura 6),caso contrario la camada de material aplicado ser desigual.La Figura 7 ilustra el movimiento correcto de la pistola paraaplicacin de la tinta. No pare el movimiento de la pistoladurante la pintura. Si la tinta escurre en la superficie dondeest siendo aplicada, la pistola puede estar muy prxima a lamisma y puede estar siendo aplicada mucha tinta en unamano o la tcnica de recubrimiento no est adecuada. Si hayuna neblina excesiva o el spray est siendo disipado en elaire sin depositarse en la superficie, o la pistola puede estarmuy lejos de la misma.Suelte el gatillo al final de cada pasada mientras la pistola se est moviendo e inicie la pasadasiguiente de tal forma que la pistola ya est en movimiento cuando el gatillo sea accionado.Cada pase de la pistola debe recubrir aproximadamente mitad del pase anterior. No intente obteneruna cobertura completa en el primer pase. Dos o tres manos leves son mejores que un pase pesado.La Figura 8 (a) ilustra un buen ejemplo de aplicacin de tinta. Si la aplicacin presenta unaconcentracin elevada de tinta en el centro conforme la Figura 8 (b), significa que el producto debeser diludo. Si la aplicacin presenta concentracin elevada en las partes superior e inferior conformela Figura 8 (c) significa que el inyector de fludo o los inyectores para aire de chorro yestn parcialmente obstrudos y debern limpiarse.

No tumbe/incline la pistola durante su uso, para evitar la obstruccin de las pasadas de aire.Instale prefiltro y filtro aglutinador para retirar partculas y el agua condensada del airecomprimido, con el fin de mejorar la calidad del acabado final de la pintura.En la limpieza de piezas sensibles a la humedad, instale filtro aglutinador para retirar el aguacondensada del aire comprimido.

5. Antes de iniciar la pintura, haga un test decaudal de tinta en otra superficie,comenzando con el regulador de la aguja
totalmente cerrado. Aprete el gatillo ygire lentamente el regulador de la agujahasta conseguir el chorro deseado(Figura 6).

Limpie el filtro de aire de acuerdo con la frecuencia de uso, procediendo de la siguiente manera:Suelte los tornillos que fijan la tapa del crter.Lave el elemento filtrante con agua y jabn neutro.Squelo bien antes de efectuar el montaje.
Caso el filtro no de condiciones de reutilizarlo, cmbieloLimpie semanalmente la parte externa del compresor.Inspeccione y limpie las vlvulas a cada mil horas o 9 meses de servicio.Hgalo a travs de nuestro DISTRIBUIDOR CREDENCIADO SCHULZms cercano.Trimestralmente reapriete el tornillo que fija el contrapeso al eje delmotor elctrico cuando ocurra rudo o vibracin:
Remueva la tapa del crter (vea Figura 2, pg. 2) para tener acceso al tornillo.Utilizando una llave L hexagonal (1/8).Utilice en el tornillo.
Al final de cada servicio, limpie y lubrique la pistola de la siguiente forma:Suelte el vaso del cuerpo de la pistola (Figura 9)Gire el cuerpo de la pistola (tubo de fludo apuntando para arriba),llene con solvente su cmara y deje el mismo escurrir totalmente enun recipiente.Coloque un poco de solvente en el vaso y mntela nuevamente en el cuerpo de la pistola.Pulverice el solvente dentro de un recipiente, agitando la pistola para soltar la tinta del interiordel vaso y limpiar la pasada del fludo. Repita esta operacin hasta que el solvente salga limpiode la pistola.Desconecte la pistola de la manguera.Remueva los inyectores para aire de chorro y , el inyector de fludo y la aguja ,cepllelos con solvente y squelos enseguida (Figura 10). Para remover la aguja, sueltecompletamente su regulador .Suelte el vaso y complete la limpieza de la pistola con un pao mojado con solvente (Figura 9).Lubrique toda la aguja con aceite de mquina (SAE 10W), vuelva a montar la pistola y accionealgunas veces el gatillo para que ocurra la lubricacin de la estopa y del gua de la aguja.
Para evitar daos a las estopas y a la lubricacin de las partes mviles , no sumerja el vaso dela pistola en el solvente.

Para garantizar a SEGURIDAD y la CONFIABILIDAD del producto, las reparaciones, elmantenimiento y los ajustes debern ser efectuados a travs de nuestro Distribuidor CredenciadoSchulz ms cercano, el mismo utiliza piezas originales.

A. en los lmites fijados por este trmino, asegura al primer comprador usuario de esteproducto la garanta contra cualquier defecto de fabricacin por el perodo de 1 (un) ao (includoperiodo de la garanta legal- primeros 90 (noventa) das ), contando a partir de la fecha de emisinde la Factura de Venta.Los dems componentes kit tiene garanta contra cualquier defecto de fabricacin por un perodode 90 (noventa) dias, contado a partir de la fecha de emisin de la factura de venta.
El atendimiento en la garanta ser realizado solamente mediante la presentacin de la FacturaOriginal de Venta.Si el cliente propietario de este modelo (producto porttil) desea ser atendido a domicilio, quedar acriterio del DISTRIBUIDOR CREDENCIADO SCHULZ cobrar una tasa de visita, y/o de acuerdo conlas normas de la legislacin local.Se excluyen de la garanta componentes que se desgastan naturalmente con el uso regular y queestn influenciados por la instalacin y forma de utilizacin del producto tales como: filtro de aire,empaquetadura, vlvulas, biela, cigueal, rodamientos, diafragma e interruptor conecta/desconectacon cable. Note: - Both the compressor and the hose usually get warm after a few minutes of operation.
- The pressure regulationg valve is regulated and sealed during its manufacturingprocess what guarantees protection to the equipment and to its user. If the seal isbroken or removed, the warranty will be considered null and void.
- For safety reasons, switch the compressor off when moving it.
- Switch the compressor off when cleaning, filtering, sieving, and refilling paint in the cupof the spray gun for painting.
- When using oil base paints, varnishes or synthetic solvents and when carrying out jobsthat require a good finishing, use an air treatment filter (coalescent) to retain thecondensed water.

Whenever you use the painting spray gun, follow theapplication instructions on surface preparations, as well ashow to clean the area to be painted, according to itsmanufacturers instructions.Always keep the spray gun in vertical position (Picture 6); ifnot, the layer of the material used will not be equal.Picture 7 shows the correct spray gun movement for painting.Do not stop the back and forth spray gun movement whilepainting. If the paint leaks on the surface where it is beingapplied, the spray gun may either be too close to it, too muchpaint is being used in one layer or the painting technique is notadequate. If there is an excessive mist or if the spray isdispersing in the air without depositing on the surface, thespray gun may be too far from it.Release the trigger at the end of each spray, while the spray gun is still moving. Begin the nextspraying so that the spray gun is already moving when the trigger is pulled.Each spraying must re-cover approximately half of the previous spraying. Do not try to get a completecovering in the first spraying. Two or more light layers are better than a heavy application.Picture 8 (a) shows a good example of paint application. If the application presents a high paintconcentration in the center, according to Picture 8 (b), it means that the product must be diluted. If theapplication presents high concentration in the superior and inferior parts as shown on Picture 8 (c), itmeans that the fluid nozzle or air nozzles and are partially obstructed and must be cleaned.

Do not lay the pray gun down during use to avoid clogging air passages.Install pre-filter and coalescent filter to remove particles and the compressed air condensedwater in order to improve painting final finishing quality.To clean parts that are humidity sensitive, install coalescent filter to remove the compressed aircondensed water.

Before starting to paint, test the paint flowon another surface using the needleregulator totally closed. Pull the triggerand slowly turn the needle regulator untilthe wanted spray is reached (Picture 6).

- Clean the air filter, according to use frequency, as follows:Remove the screws that fasten the crankcase end cover.Wash the filter element with water and neutral soap.Dry it before assembling.
Obs: If the filter does not offer conditions to be reused, replace it.- Clean the compressor's external part weekly.
- Quarterly,if abnormal noise or vibration occurs, fasten the screw that attaches thecounterweight to the electric motor axle:
To reach the screw, remove the crankcase cover (Picture 2, page 10).Use an L hexagonal wrench (1/8).Use in the bolt.
At the end of each work, clean and lubricate the spray gun as follows:- Release the cup from spray gun body (Picture 9).- Turn the spray gun body (fluid pipe upward), fill it up with thinner
and let all the thinner drain into a container.-Add some thinner to the cup and fasten it to the spray gun body.-Spray the thinner into another container by shaking the spray gun, so that the paint inside thecontainer gets loose and the fluid passage gets clean. Repeat this operation until clean thinnerleaves the container.
- Disconnect spray gun from hose.- Remove air nozzles and , fluid nozzle and needle , brush them with thinner and dry
them next (Picture 10). To remove the Needle, completely release its regulator .-Release the cup and finish cleaning the spray gun by using a piece of cloth embedded in thinner(Picture 9).
- Lubricate the needle with lubricant oil (SAE 10W), reassemble the spray gun and pull the triggera few times to lubricate the bushing and the needle.
To avoid damage to the bushings and to the lubrication of moving parts, do not plunge the spraygun into thinner.Do not use alkaline solutions (caustic soda and acids) for cleaning.
- Check and clean valves every 1000 working hours or 9 months.Do it at the nearest SCHULZ AUTHORIZED CENTER.
