Effects of Globalization on Developing Economies
with Emphasis on Human Immunodeficiency
and Computer Virus
Auwalu Musa* Staff of Mubi-North Education Department, Adamawa State, Nigeria
Abstract The aim of this paper is to examine the effects of globalization on developing economies
with emphasis on the origin, nature and relationship between Human Immunodeficiency
Virus [HIV] and Computer Viruses [CV’s]. The paper begins with introduction where the
concept of globalization was reviewed with focus on developing economies. The finding
of the paper reveals that Human Immunodeficiency and Computer Virus as part of globalization do more harms than good in all aspects of socio-economic and
technological development in developing economies. Economically, HIV/AIDS and computer/digital related virus has been described as a billion dollar disease through
which billions of dollars are being generated from developing economies to developed
countries like America and Japan thereby contributing to the under-development of the developing economies. More especially through the production, monopoly and sell of
condoms, retro-viral drugs, computer/digital related anti-virus systems. It is also
discovered that the developed countries like America and Japan are scientifically and technologically far developed than developing countries which are backward in that
respect. The methodology utilized in this paper is secondary source of data. The paper conclude that knowledge about science and technology within the context of globalization
are definitely static and obsolete in developing countries compared to developed
capitalist countries that operates with exploitation and imperialism. The developing economies found themselves in a quagmire due to total dependence on developed
countries for almost everything.

E-library and Education System
Shaweta Sharma* Vaish Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Affiliated to MDU Rohtak, India
Abstract Education system is a biggest issue in our country. Technology is now growing education
system and its related areas. Main aim in this direction is to lower the cost of imparting education to as less as rupees one per child and compatible the paucity of teachers and
take learning people. Who face harnessing technology? E-library is like miracle in library and education sector. Time is the most important thing and research scholars and
students need to secure the time. E-library service is time-saver process. In this process,
research scholar and user need not to come to the library rather they could access library from anywhere and anyplace like office, home etc. by the help of internet process. In this
program foreign countries are conducting R&D and experiments and the electronic
library as a form of library service. The practical application of E-library has already been implemented. But a fully-fledged start will be made in the future. It is also defined in
the electronic library concept as a library which provides research related material and information electronically through communication network as the basis for this purpose.
