Next Week's Lunches:What in the World is MTSS? Some students have been wondering what is supposed to happen during "Period 6.5," that class between 6th and 7th hours where 5th-8th graders are combined. So, Dakota Sisler and Jalisa Rummel sat down with Mr. Look and got some answers.

He said that MTSS stands for "Multitiered System of Support." Students will be divided into different levels for reading, and eventually math, and will work on those skills (after all students have been tested) during this time. Once the groups are set up, he believes it will really benefit the students. Until then, most teachers are having the students do team-building activities, a study hall, or other things during this time.

Enamel is the hardest substance in the human body.

The only part of the body that has no blood supply is the cornea in the eye. It takes in oxygen directly from the air.

You have no sense of smell when you're sleeping!

You can see your nose all the time, but somehow your brain always ignores it!
