bilingual christian convention committee summer work continues on both campuses Colegio’s New President FROM: Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico DEGREE: B. A. Sacred Literature I thank God for the wonderful time I spent at the Colegio Biblico while preparing myself for ministry. It has been an important goal in my life to have completed my education here and I know what I have learned in these four years will be something I can use to be a blessing to others. I’ll be supporting my husband Edy Santos, who graduated last year from Colegio Biblico, and together we will support the Church of Christ in Texcoco, Mexico, in the work of evangelization, Sunday schools, Bible studies, and providing the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. We trust that God will bless this new era of service in our life, hoping that everything we do is to give glory and honor to God. Literally translated, it means “the collegiate.” Colegio Biblico wants to use this title for two reasons: 1) Long before the internet shortened our words and patience, our newsletters were originally called “El Colegial.” In looking back to that title, we realize that we want to say our newsletter is more than an update. It’s also for talking about our current students, who you help support in this ministry with your prayers and donations. 2) By staying true to our Spanish- speaking culture, we can all enjoy saying, “El Colegial (pronounced: el kohl-e-HEE-ahl).” On June 18, we started with the remodeling of what will be the main office of Colegio’s Mexico campus, in order to provide better service. This month we have been giving the main office in Eagle Pass more attention to detail both in the interior (new curtains and paint job) and exterior (preparing for a new coat of paint). Students and campus staff have put their best effort in completing the work. I n the past few months, Colegio Biblico’s staff and trustees have been earnestly seeking God’s will for Him to provide the right person to serve as president of this ministry. On July 6, our brothers in Christ and Trustees of Colegio Biblico interviewed Brother Gonzalo Flores and extended him the invitation to be the next president of our institution. After a long time of prayer and seeking God’s guidance, Colegio Biblico finally has a new president. The trustees expressed their joy and satisfaction unanimously before Brother Gonzalo Flores was appointed as president of this institution. We know that our brother is deeply committed to Kingdom work and know his passion for sharing the good news in the Spanish-speaking world. We are happy and thankful to God for His direction in this important decision, and we trust that our Lord will bring abundant blessing to Colegio Biblico’s ministry through our Brother Gonzalo. Welcome, Brother Gonzalo Flores, president of Colegio Biblico! Our brothers, Noé López, Noé Soriano, Adiel Canizalez, Raúl Pérez, and Daniel Llamas, members of the steering committee for the Bilingual Christian Convention, met in order to plan and organize the upcoming “Bilingual Christian Convention” which will be take place in February (2013) from the 22nd to 24th. I thank God for the wonderful time I spent at the Colegio Biblico while preparing myself for ministry.

Literally translated, it means “the collegiate.” Colegio Biblico wants to use this title for two reasons:1) Long before the internet shortened our words and patience, our newsletters were originally called “El Colegial.” In looking back to that title, we realize that we want to say our newsletter is more than an update. It’s also for talking about our current students, who you help support in this ministry with your prayers and donations.2) By staying true to our Spanish-speaking culture, we can all enjoy saying, “El Colegial (pronounced: el kohl-e-HEE-ahl).”

On June 18, we started with the remodeling of what will be the main office of Colegio’s Mexico campus, in order to provide better service.

This month we have been giving the main office in Eagle Pass more attention to detail both in the interior (new curtains and paint job) and exterior (preparing for a new coat of paint).

Students and campus staff have put their best effort in completing the work.

In the past few months, Colegio Biblico’s staff and trustees have been earnestly seeking God’s will for

Him to provide the right person to serve as president of this ministry. On July 6, our brothers in Christ and Trustees of Colegio Biblico interviewed Brother Gonzalo Flores and extended him the invitation to be the next president of our institution. After a long time of prayer and seeking God’s guidance, Colegio

Biblico finally has a new president.

We thank you for your prayers, physical and financial support to make possible this annual event which we know has been and is a blessing to those who attend and participate in it.

Colegio Biblico admits students of any race, color, ethnic or national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic or national origin in the administration of its education and admission policies, scholarship, loan, athletic, and

other school-administered programs.
