MENTORING THE CALLED

A mentorship-based ministry, KALEO

helps young men and women safely

explore whether or not they are

called to full-time vocational ministry. Each

summer, KALEO partners young men and

women with Arkansas churches that offer

ministry experience. They also visit the

Arkansas Baptist State Convention, where

they’re introduced to the many resources

available to Arkansas Baptist churches.

DISCIPLESHIP IS JOB ONE

The Christian Women’s Job Corps

and Christian Men’s Job Corps

provide training in basic academic

and professional skills. But that’s only the

beginning. When someone joins a CWJC or

CMJC program, they are connected with a

mentor who begins one-on-one discipleship.

Participants join Bible studies and are

bathed in prayer. These vital ministries help

bring true success in every area of life.

THE WORLD COMES TO US

An international, multi-cultural

presence is evident in the 10

language groups which have a

church presence in our state. Arkansas

Baptists are reaching out to internationals

through classes, college campus groups, and

personal relationships. While teaching English,

cooking, exercise, citizenship, and other

practical subjects, Arkansas Baptists share the

Gospel with internationals—right here at home.
