HOW DONOR DOLLARS WERE INVESTED IN 2014

Our administration / community investment ratio

Where we invest dollars raised in the community

Admin & fundraising

Multi-partner collaborations

Grants (1%)

Directed by donors to charities of their choice (not evaluated by United Way)

Examples of community investments:PROGRAMS & CAPACITY BUILDING Boys and Girls Clubs after-school programs that provide safe places for kids to go and connect.

MULTI-PARTNER COLLABORATIONSThe Homelessness Action Plan, a partnership between multiple stakeholders aimed at ending homelessness in Kamloops.

GRANTSYouth Initiative Grants provide youth 25 or younger up to $1,500 to execute a local community project that addresses social issues.

With our guidance, members of the Community Impact Councils (all volunteers) spend countless hours reviewing

applications and interviewing local non-profits to determine where the greatest need is in each community.
