devised in collaboration with Martin Stan-

nage and Baba Israel.

Writer/Performer Maxwell Golden says:

Its about what its like living in a rural

area and wanting to make urban music,

heart and soul is on the beaches and with

the community you grew up in.

through the aesthetic of modern UK Hip

Double Delight!What could better than giving a living home to a cat? The only thing we can think would be to give a

home to two cats! A pair of cats is perfect for people at work most of the day as they can keep each

other company and for younger pairs they keep each otherentertained whilst you are busy. With two

cats you get twice the personalityand double the fun!

DOLLY & TEDThese two young cats were leftin a carrier on a gentlemans door-

step. They are nine months old, and are vaccinated and neutered.

Their photos do not show how lovely these two youngcats are. Dolly

is a petite long haired beauty and Ted is the handsome shorthaired

one.

Our fosterer says: These cats have at some stage been mistreated as

every time I moved my arm they jumped back as if I was going to hit

them. They are now beginning to trust me and havestarted playing.

Dolly and Ted are very close to each other so we would like to ind them a home where they can stay

together. As we do not know how they would react to young children or other animals a quiet home

would be best.

in Praise of olDer CatsIf you are thinking of giving a cat a home do consider the gentle and lovingolder cats that need a sec-ond chance for a happy home. Sometimes they get overlooked in favour of kittens and younger cats,

but they really do have greatbeneits of their own! These Senior Kittizens are usually very loving as

theyare used to living in a home environment and receiving lots of love andattention from a previous

owner. Cats regularly live into their twenties so acat of 10 years or over may only be halfway through

its life. Golden Oldiesstill have lots to oer a new owner so please do not dismiss these cats purely on

age.

Gracie and Daisy are 11 year old sisters whose ownershave sadly died within six months of each other. They love

eachother very much and must stay together. They are

very friendly, house trained,their vaccinations are up to

date and lea treatments, teeth cleaning etc has been taken

care of.
