Here we are at the end of another eventful year. This team took on new endeavors and pushed through all the rough times. It would not have been possible without all the support along the way. To our wonderful administrators; thank you for your advice and support throughout this year. The notes of encouragement and “way to go’s” during the year helped us keep going. The Brigade and I are very grateful to have you all as some of our cheerleaders. To the Brigade Parents, thank you for allowing me to spend all this time with your daughters. Each one of them is unique in her own way; I feel blessed to get to be their director. To the KCB booster club, thank you for your advice, time and effort this year. You ladies have certainly gone above and beyond to make sure the girls had a great year. I appreciate the extra hours you spent to help get things accomplished. To my rookies, congratulations on surviving your first year! It certainly was an adventure, and I am proud of you for sticking through until the end. Your journey has just begun, and I can’t wait to see where it takes you as you continue your journey on this team. Good luck tonight in your first spring show as a brigade member. Twos, where do I begin? You all bring a special excitement to the team. I am very grateful for your continued dedication and hard work with this team. It is hard to believe that next year you will be golden oldies, and your career on Brigade will come to a close. I am so proud of the ladies you are becoming and can’t wait for one more year with you. Good luck tonight! To my goofy social officers; thank you for a wonderful year. I can honestly say that the bond this team has is largely because of the parties you planned and the care you showed. I am proud of each of you and hope tonight is as fabulous as you are!

To the dance officers, I am not sure how to put into words how proud I am of you. As a group you overcame so much and worked harder than I could have imagined. You were able to push past any obstacle set in front of you, and lead this team better than I could have hoped. Thank you for always coming in ready to work; and for pushing yourselves, the team and me beyond what we thought could be accomplished. I am so happy and blessed to call you my officers. Golden oldies, it’s finally here, your last performance on Brigade. You ladies have been an amazing group to have started my journey as a director with. To see how much each of you has grown over the last three years is incredible. Saying so long- because it’s not goodbye- is going to be difficult. However, I am very proud of the legacy you have helped build and will be leaving behind. Thank you for never giving up, and constantly striving to be your best. Each year we have taken a new step and we have now made it to the end ~ one step at a time. May tonight be your best yet, dance from your heart and leave it all on the floor. Finally, to my team, the beautiful Brigade; I don’t even know where to begin. Every year there is something new that is thrown at you, and you have always stepped up and gone above and beyond what I had hoped. Thank you for trusting me with the new endeavors and not giving up. Your performances this year never ceased to make me proud. I always dreamed of being a dance teacher, although where was never an issue. I am so beyond grateful that I was put here at Kempner and get to call you ladies my team. It is my hope that you don’t stop believing in what you can accomplish and follow your dreams no matter where they take you. Thank you for another incredible year where you are truly building a legacy, and making it a good one.
