Good afternoon!
It was a great week here at KJH! Tonight our 8th grade band will join the High School Marching Band during the first half of the football game where they will play together in the endzone. This will be a great night for all! Students should arrive in the high school band room by 5:30 to warm-up and to receive their Kings Band Shirt.
The Washington D.C. trip is quickly approaching. We hope the infor-mational parent meeting last night was helpful. We will be posting the presentation on our KJH website. If you have any additional ques-tions, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
Congratulations to our Kings Outstanding Staff Members Brent Allen, Suzanne Dwyer, Lisa Rigney, Marg Griffen, Joe Polen, Jen Bicknell, John Karabinus and Cheryl Hahn.
Have a great weekend!

What is your favorite book and/or movie? My favorite movie will forever be Remember
the Titans. I'm currently reading Wild, a nonfiction book by Cheryl Strayed, and it's pretty
captivating so far.
What are your hobbies outside of the school day? My hobbies outside of school consist
mostly of hanging out with friends and family - specifically my adorable niece and nephew,
staying active, and attending local events such as concerts, baseball and football games.
What is your favorite quote? My favorite quote is by Eleanor Roosevelt: "No one can make
you feel inferior without your consent."
What does P.A.C.T. mean to you as a teacher? To me, P.A.C.T. is simply doing what's
right, even when others may not be watching. Additionally, to be the best versions of our-
selves, we must commit to showing pride in all that we do, while also approaching situa-

Car Talks are designed to give parents some key topics, connected to school activities
from the week. They are short and not meant to be long conversations, just something
that can happen in a car ride home or to the store.
