Chapter 1About the Koala

People say that the Koalas are in the top of the worlds cutest animals. They have cute fuzzy hair that makes them look like they are cute stuffed animals. are Koalas live in Australia and some zoos. Most Koalas are coming extinct because of this they can not find food. The government said that you could not hunt them for their skins. People still hunted them but for food this time this is another way the can come extinct.

Chapter 2What Koalas Eat

Mostly all of the Koalas eat Eucalyptus leafs but before they do that they find a safe place to eat so that the predators can not get them. Sometimes its very difficult to find the Eucalyptus leafs. The Koalas eat different types of Eucalyptus leafs. When they get older they recognize the types of Eucalyptus and they only eat one. Sometimes the Koalas eat soil and gravel if there is nothing else to eat.

Chapter 3The Koalas Predators

Most of the time Koalas are killed on the ground. The predators are Dingo's, Foxes, Quells, large Snakes, Domestic Dogs, and sometimes even pet cats. All Koalas have very sharp claws that they use against some of their predators. When the Koalas are hunted by their predator they normally get corned and that is when it would be a good time to use their very sharp claws. Sometimes the claws can hurt the predators very badly. When the Koala gets really scared it can surprisingly run fast from the predator.

Chapter 5How The Koalas Survive

Normally when Koalas are about 1 they leave their family. First the Koala finds a new home. Normally there is one Koala per tree it is very rare to see 2 in a tree. Sometimes when a koala baby goes into its moms tree. It does not go with the man Koala because it sometimes drives the other Koala out. When the Koala is older for example about 1 if it were to come back to the mom and try to go in to their tree again the mom would probably drive the other Koala out of that particular tree.

ConclusionThere are many different kinds of Koalas. Koalas are starting to go extinct as I said earlier in this book this we know why this is happening because most of the zoos do have that many eucalyptus leaves to give to the Koalas. This is the Koala book that I wrote.
