A One-day Guided Retreat, entitled “Contemplative Prayer 101: Come Listen to Your Beloved” will be offered on November

16, 2019, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. It will be presented by Jeannette Easley, Director of Ruah Spirituality Center, Houston, TX. The

focus will be on the importance of silent receptive prayer in our spiritual journey to intentionally hear the voice of God within. All

are invited to the Liturgy of the Eucharist at 8:30 am in the Incarnate Word Chapel which is optional. A Love Offering is

7:00-8:00 pm, Taize’ Prayer will be prayed in the Amor Meus Prayer Room. Taize’ Prayer is a beautiful contemplative, candlelit

Christian prayer consisting of repetitive psalm phrases to give it a meditative character. Psalms, song, silence, scripture readings,
