Awards: WKSA gift for all competitors WKSA Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places Grand Champions will receive the Certificate of Champion and a WKSA weapon

Champion categories: Those wishing to enter the Champion competition must enter All divisions in their rank. To be eligible for the Grand Champion Award, participant must have a minimum of 1 (one) Gold medal with the highest overall points accumulated AND there must be at least three (3) competitors to qualify for the Champion Award and recognition.

Winning School: The school with the highest overall points will be awarded beautifully embroidered velvet Association winner flag. The winning school will keep the Flag until the next tournament year, at which time the winning school will render it to the new winning school. If a school wins the flag three consecutive years, they will keep the flag permanently. This year, Kuk Sa Nim will give a WKSA Weapon to First through Fifth place schools.

Safety equipment is required for all sparring competition (Mandatory: headgear, mouthpiece, cup for men, boots, and gloves. We recommend: shin guards and / or breast protectors).

NOTES ON DIVISIONS

TECHNIQUES

Empty hand techniques to be performed with a partner, before a panel of judges. The partner must fall correctly,

and falling is mandatory. Ask your instructor for the rank & age requirements for partnering.

SWORD AND STAFF

Black belts may enter both staff and sword division. If you enter both, they will be considered two separate divisions.

No live (sharp) blades. Only official WKSA sword is allowed for this division.

Adults Black Belt competitors are required to wear the official WKSA's THE GENERAL uniform for all Weapons Divisions.

~ 6.00 pm* Winner Schools Presentation, Grand Champions & Black Belt Promotion

**Grand Champion Presentations & Winner Schools Presentations will follow immediately after the completion of the last ring.
