Scene 1:Animals really are pretty awesome, aren't they?I know, right?I don't know about other animals, I just know my dog is the bestanimal in the world!Urn, no. The best in the world are my Siamese cats. They're practicallypeople!Yes, but can you ride them like I can ride my horse? I don't think so!I bet your horse isn't as cool as my snakeEEEEEYVYOOOO!I don't care what you say. My cats are the most awesomest of all ofthe awesome animals.All right, all right. Obviously, we all think our pets are the mostawesome animals.And obviously, I'm the only one who's right!Like she said, we definitely love our pets!

Scene 2:OVVoooooooooooooo!Rrrrrrooooooaaaarrrr!VVhat are you guys doing?They are making wild animal sounds!HOOONnnnnnk!VVhyare you guys doing that?Because we want to make a symphony. (Monkey sounds) 00, 00, ah,ah,ah!Out of animal noises?They are not just noises. They are music! Hhhhhhsssssssss!And when you put them all together, you get a symphony of sound.VVow, I never thought of it that way.Nature is full of music! Just listen.

Scene 3I love to make animal sounds. It's one of my favorite things to do!'Oh yeah? I bet you can't make a sound like a cow!MOOOOOOOO!Huh, you can make a sound like a cow. But I bet you can't make asound like a dog!Woof, woof woof!Unbelieveable! You can sound like a dog. This one will stump youthough, I bet you can't make a sound like a rooster!Cock-a-dood Ie-doo!No Way! You can make a sound like a roosterAll right, all right. I got an animal sound that there is 110 way he canmake! I bet you can't make a sound like a fox!Hmmmmm, let me think. Uh What does the fox say?

Scene 4This is my dog at the park. And this is him playing with his squeakytoy. And this is him chewing on my slippers. And here he's taking anap.He looks like a great dog.Yep, he looks like he is your best friend!Can you imagine if there was no such thing as dogs?Nope!That would be horrible!And what if there were no giraffes? Or Eagles? Or Pandas?Or Alligators? Or cows? Or whales?Or Cats?Well, that-wouldn't be too badWe totally need our animal friends.I can't imagine a world without them!

Los animales son en realidad grandiosos, verdad?Lo se, verdad?No se de otros animales, solo se que mi perro es el mejor animal en elmundo!MMMMM, no. Los mejores del mundo son mis gatos Siarneses. Sonpracticarnente gente!Si, pero puedes montarlos como yo monto mi caballo? No 10 creo!Apuesto que tu caballo no es tan chido como mi serpienteGUUUAAACCCAAALLLAAA!No me importa 10 que tu digas. Mis gatos son los mas grandiosos animalesde todos los animales.Esta bien, esta bien. Obviamente, todos-pensamos que nuestros animalesson los mas grandiosos.Y obviamente, yo soy el unico que tiene la raz6n!Como el dijo, definitivamente nosotros amamos a nuestras mascotas!Escena 2(Aullidos como lobos) Auuuuuuuuuuu!(Ruge como un le6n) Rrrrrroooooorrrr!Que estan haciendo muchachos?Estan hacienda sonidos de animales salvajes!(jonks como un ganso) JOOONnnnnnk!Porque estan hacienda eso ustedes?Porque queremos hacer una sinfonfa. (Sonidos de monos) Uu, uu, ah, ah,ah!De los ruidos de animales?No son solo los ruidoso Esos son la musical (Silbidos como serpientes)sssssssssssssss! -Y cuando se ponen todos juntos, se obtiene una sinfonfa de sonidos.Wow, nunca habra pensado de esa manera.La naturaleza esta lIena de musical Solo escucha.Escena 3Me encanta hacer sonidos de animales. Esuna de miscosas favoritas parahacer!Oh Si? A puesto a que no puede hacer un sonido como-una vaca!MUUUUUUUUU!

Huh, tu puedes hacer'sonidos como una vaca. Pero apuesto a que nopuedes hacer un sonido como un perro!wau wau wau wau !lncreiblel Tu suenas como perro. Esto te pondra en que pensar, teapuesto a que no pueden hacer el sonido de un galla!Cucurru-cucu!De ninguna manera! Suenas como un galla.Esta bien, esta bien. Se sonidos de animales que de ninguna manera tupuedes hacer! Apuesto que no puede hacer los sonidos como un zarro!Hmmmmm, dejarne pensar, Uh Que dice el zorro?Escena 4Este es mi perro en er parque. Y este es el, jugando can su juguete chill6n.Y esto es 10 que mastics en mis zapatillas. Y aquf el esta tomando unasiesta.Se ve como un gran perro.Si, parece que es su rnejor amigo!Se imaginan si no hay: tal cosa como los perras?Noooooooo!Eso serla horrible!Y que si no hubieran jirafas? 0 Aves? 0 Pandas?o Caimanes? 0 Vacas? 0 Ballenas?o los Gatos?Bueno, eso no seria tan maloTodos necesitamos d~ nuestros amigos animales.No me puedo irnaglnar un mundo sin ellos!

About the Art work:Kindergarten used many different materials and methods to create their fish collages.They first used crayons and texture plates to create rubbings. Color was added to therubbings with watercolor paint. Shapes for fish bodies, tails and fins were cut out ofthe colorful paper and glued to a background patterned with pastels.

Mrs. Herrera's students used what they have learned about sapes and patterns todraw beetles. After listening to and looking at the pictures in "Beetle Bop" by DeniseFleming, students used black crayons to draw the three large shapes and the legs of abeetle. N¢'xt, they added pattern and color to the insects with crayon and watercolorpaints. W~ hope you enjoy seeing their beetles "bopping' around the lobby!

Losestudiantes de la Sra. Herrera utilizan 10 que aprendieron acerca de formas y patronespara dibujar los escarabajos. Despues de escuchar y mirar las fotos en "Escarabajo Bop" deDenise Fleming, los estudiantes utilizan laplces de color negro para dibujar las tres grandesforrnas y las patas de un escarabajo. A continua cion, se aiiade rnodelov color de los insectoscon laplces de colores y pintara de acuarela. Esperamos que disfrute viendo sus escarabajospar el vestibulo!
