County Extension Changes 4H’ers, Parents and Volunteers,
By now, most everyone knows that I will be leaving LaSalle County. I want to thank everyone for believing in the 4H program here. It has been 3 and half short years and I leave the program in great shape. Our secretary, Carla, knows the program now and will have no problem filling in until the next county agent is hired. I will be taking a position at the state 4H headquarters working with the state 4H shooting sports program and the new state heifer validation.
I would like to leave our 4H’ers with the charge to work hard at whatever you choose to do, and if the culmination is in a competition, PLEASE, if you win, win with humility and compassion and if you lose, lose with dignity and the pride of knowing that you did your best.
