Introduction & Coaching Objectives Definition
Leadership Coaching, is a collaborative, individualised relationship between a leader and
the coach in which both sides work to reach an agreed-upon destination. In this session
the coach and the leader meet to identify together the expected outcomes of the
whole coaching exercise.
The session is for the coach and the leader to get acquainted with each other, and also
aims to ensure that the coach and the leader can work together to achieve the agreed
expected outcomes. A session takes between one hour and one hour and a half.

Personality Analysis and Capabilities Assessment (PACA)
Based on the results of the meeting with the leader in the first stage and the current
culture of the organisation, the coach will work with the sponsor or the leader to define
the most suitable assessment tools to use for the PACA.
In addition to IMPERIAL-TC skills assessment tool developed based on the leader job
profile, the organisation type of business, culture and strategic objectives, personality
tools used by IMPERIAL-TC for personality assessment, include:

Action Plan Development (ADP)
Based on the results of the meeting with the leader in the first stage, the coach will
develop an action plan, describing the objectives of the coaching process, the KPI for
each objective and the schedule for implementation. Once approved by the leader and
the sponsor, a contract will be issued by IMPERIAL-TC and the coaching will start.

Coaching in Action
IMPERIAL-TC coaching aims to achieve the objectives defined in stage 1, by taking in
consideration the results of the assessment in Stage 2 and working on the following
areas:
1. Mindset Development – The objective of the mindset modeling is to develop the
behaviours of the leader in line with the assessment results of stage 2, in order to
achieve the objectives identified in Stage 1.
2. Managerial Practice – The objective of the managerial practice is to develop the
leader’s management practices in People, Activities, Time and Resources (tangible
and non-tangible) in order to achieve the objectives defined in Stage 1, taking into
consideration the assessment results in Stage 2.
3. Marketing Excellence – The objective of the marketing excellence is to develop
the leader in creating environments and situations for recognition of their team,
their team activities and themselves within and outside the organisation, taking
account of the culture, values and the strategic objectives of the organisation.

Monitoring and Feedback
The coaching process is monitored through the KPIs of the objectives defined in
Stage1, and periodical personality assessments. KPIs are regularly measured according
to the action plan set at Stage 3 and the results of personality assessments are
compared to the previous ones to ensure the progress of the behavioural competencies.
After every measurement, and based on the results obtained the coach meets the leader
to discuss the results and together decide on whether changes for the initial action plan
are required or not.
Closure and Evaluation
Once all the steps in the action plan come to an end, the coach will produce a report
describing all the stages of the coaching process with the results achieved. For privacy
protection, some parts of the report will only be shared with the leader. However, the
general evaluation and progress parts of the report can be shared with the sponsor as
defined in the contract between the coach and the sponsor.
