A seminar designed for our female athletes to transition smoothly and efficiently into post-sport careers and leadership roles.

Ski and Snowboard Australia is extremely proud of the outstanding achievements of our female athletes, many of whom have gone on to enjoy further success in their post-sport careers.

Recognising that our incredible female athletes have a unique skillset, SSA has created Leading Edge program. The one-day seminar on women’s leadership is designed to assist our current, and newly retired female athletes, to transition smoothly to corporate and community leadership roles, when they are ready.

The attendees will learn to recognise and value the skills they have developed as elite athletes, including: goal-setting; focus; commitment; time management; resilience; and the ability to self-motivate, perform under pressure and reset when plans are disrupted.

The seminar will also teach them how to transfer these attributes into other fields of endeavour.
