Learning Intention: To identify the important details in a non-fiction
text and then write a summary. The students investigated the
features of a non-fiction text; researched an endangered animal
making sure to only record the most important information; wrote a
summary in their own words; published their Information Report
and then presented their report to their classmates.
My endangered animal
was on a lemur. I chose this
endangered animal because they
looked cute. A fact I learnt was that
their favourite food is leaves, plants
and now and again they eat insects

if the adult Tasmanian devils are
