The Strato Rock's "little brother". Don’t let the description fool you, it's crafted using the identical concrete construction and has the same great climbing features and durability as its big brother. Cre8ed to be linked to the Strato, these two siblings can produce a new climber that can span 18 feet in length, forming a natural rock arch. Or, connect them together with one of our Rope Links!

Installation:
NOTE: Read installation instructions thoroughly before starting installation process.
Step 1: Lay out area and prepare site for install. Concrete must be installed over a solid, level base. See product specification sheet for minimum use zone requirements to ensure proper spacing and adequate surfacing area.
Step 2: Pour a concrete base for the Ledge Rock Climber. Refer to the Typical Slab Section on the Typical Footing page.
This concrete should be flush with the sub-grade surface. Allow time for the concrete to completely cure before continuing.
Step 3: Using an appropriate Lull-type forklift or boom, place Ledge rock into final installation location. See the Hardware
Recommendation page for information on anchoring equipment down to your slab. Refer to the surfacing manufacturer for installation of an approved impact attenuating play surface around the Ledge a minimum of 6 feet in every direction.

NOTES PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION:
- Use appropriate equipment to lift and move the play equipment.- Weather extremes and soil types vary. Please check local codes and
requirements before installing any equipment.- Use extra shipping material and caution to ensure the surface of the
product does not come in contact with the installation equipment.

Rock Climber as configured with a rock climber: When rocks are configured together, the adjacent top surfaces
should be level with one another, +/- 4”. The separation between the rocks at the top should be between 1 ½” and 3”.
Rock Climber as deck attachment: When using a rock climber as a deck attachment, the adjacent top surfaces should be level with one another. The rock edge should be parallel with the deck edge, and the separation between the rock face
and the deck face should be no more than 2 ½”.

Patch and repairs:NOTE: Always use proper eye protection and protective clothing appropriate to the task at hand.SPEC MIX-CONCRETE MIX WARNING AND DIRECTIONSWARNING: Keep out of reach of children. This product contains Portland cement. Avoid contact with skin. If case of eye contact, flush
repeatedly with water and consult the nearest physician.
RECOMMENDED TOOLS: You will need a clean empty bucket, a measuring container, margin trowel, steel trowel, a mixing stick, and
a 1⁄2” heavy-duty drill with a mixing paddle if mixing more than 5 pounds of material at one time.
MIXING: The recommended mixing ratio is approximately two parts of powder to one part by volume of water. Place the water in a
clean bucket, and add the powder. Mix by hand, or with a mixing paddle and a drill to achieve the desired trowelable, lump-free
consistency. Mechanical mixing with an electric drill will produce a creamier and smoother consistency without the need for additional
water.
INSTALLATION: Feather finish the concrete mix to the adjacent surfaces with a steel trowel. Apply sufficient pressure to fill all defects.
Use a small bristle brush to texture and blend.
THICKNESS OF INSTALLATION: Feather Finish Concrete Mix is used for a true featheredge from 0 thickness up to 1⁄2”. The
installation of Feather Finish can be done at any thickness in small, well-defined areas such as filling holes, joints, seams, cracks and
thresholds, as well as for height transitions.
CURING TIME: The time until Concrete Mix hardens will vary. For example, a skim-coat may be hard in 15 minutes. Thicker sections
will require additional time.
FINISH: After Concrete has cured, use appropriate color paint to blend color to surrounding paint colors.
POT LIFE: Approximately 15-20 minutes at 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry area. Do not expose cans to sun. Tightly reseal can of unused product to retain freshness.
SHELF LIFE: Six months in original unopened container. However, if the powder remains loose and dry it is usable.
Efflorescence on Concrete:
Efflorescence is caused when soluble salts and other water dispersible materials come to the surface of concrete and mortars. It's
induced by low temperatures, moist conditions, condensation, rain, dew, and water added to the surface of fresh concrete to assist
embossing. It can occur very soon after exposure to moist or cool conditions or gradually, especially when it comes from within the
concrete. Any material containing portland cement results in efflorescence. The most usual reaction occurs when calcium hydroxide
(lime) formed in the hydration reaction of portland cement (approximately 140 pounds per cubic yard of concrete) is transported by
water to the surface through capillaries in the concrete. There it combines with carbon dioxide from the air to produce calcium
carbonate (an insoluble material) and water.
The easiest time to remove calcium hydroxide efflorescence is before it combines with carbon dioxide. Up to this time it will dissolve in
water, so pressure washing or wet scrubbing will put it in solution with water so it can be rinsed away.
NOTE: All concrete has naturally occurring hairline cracks and these are not product defects or structural in any way. Some of the small
micro cracking may be more visible due to the efflorescence exposing it.

Materials Included:
- #1 Bosh Pear, Base Coat
- #2 Fox Run, Hi-lite Coat- #3 Seal Skin, Wash Out
Materials Needed:
- Wire Brush
- Two Sponges - Two Buckets
Step 1: Prepare AreaLightly wire brush patch area and 2-3” beyond. Thoroughly clean off all dust and dirt.
Step 2: Bosh Pear Base CoatUsing a dry sponge, apply the Base coat. Thoroughly cover the patched area, then “feather” out into surrounding painted area. Try to “feather” out to an edge to allow for proper drying.
Step 3: Fox Run Hi-lite CoatMix 70/30 (Hi-Lite/Water). Using a dry sponge, rub over the patched area to obtain desired look. A second coat may be
required to achieve desired look. Use a clean, damp sponge with water and (immediately) lightly rub over patched area to achieve desired finish. This must be done before Hi-lite paint dries. Once the desired look is obtained, let thoroughly dry.
Step 4: Seal Skin Final Wash OutMix 50/50 (Seal Skin/Water) using a damp sponge, dab over entire area with the Seal Skin wash. Using a second clean
wet sponge and bucket of water, wipe over painted area. Repeat this process until desired look is achieved.
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin. In case of eye contact, flush repeatedly with water and consult the nearest physician. Always use protective eyewear and gloves.
