Attendance The attendance of Members, public officers and Clerks is in the Official Record of Proceedings. Laying of Paper on the Table of the Council The paper tabled under Rule 21(2) of the Rules of Procedure (“RoP”) was in Appendix 1. Questions Four oral questions (i.e. Questions 1 to 4) were put by the Members, and oral replies given by the public officers to the main and supplementary questions put by Members. Written replies to Questions 5 to 19 were supplied to Members.

Request for moving an adjournment motion under RoP 16(2) Hon LAM Cheuk-ting rose to request permission to move an adjournment motion under RoP 16(2). The meeting was suspended for the President to consider the request. After consideration, the President did not accede to Mr LAM’s request and explained his decision to the Council. and the Treasury After the Bills were read the first time and ordered to be set down for Second Reading under RoP 53(3), 1 the public officer moved the Second Reading of the Bills respectively. The questions on the Second Reading of the Bills were proposed respectively. In accordance with RoP 54(4), the debates were adjourned and the Bills were referred to the House Committee. Economic Development The Second Reading debate on the Bill resumed. After Members and the public officer had spoken, the question on the Second Reading of the Bill was put and agreed to. The Bill was read the second time and committed to a committee of the whole Council. 1 Before the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury moved the Second Reading of the Limited

Partnership Fund Bill, the meeting was adjourned at 1:49 pm on 10 June 2020 due to the lack of a quorum. In accordance with RoP 17(6) and 14(4), the meeting was resumed for continuation of the unfinished business on the Agenda on the same day at 2:30 pm.
