IDEA WALL
Start an "internship" program at your
school! Post a list of internships, such as
assistant coaching, designing bulletin boards
or newsletters, etc. Students apply for the
internship, and when their term expires,
outgoing interns train the incoming.
Students create rules and
guidelines for a middle school
student-run organization.
Study Abroad Day! Students bring in a treat, music
or photos to share of their Study Abroad “experience.”
Add the terms
from Lesson 9
What Does That Mean to the
Word Wall.

could intern with any business
would it be, and why?
Model your middle school's
student organizations after college
organizations. Include academic,
political, recreational, cultural,
etc. opportunities for your
students. Encourage students to
step outside their comfort zone,
and participate in a club that
would not normally appeal to
them. Don’t forget Club Rush Day!
