Products of a tropical climate: ( tea, hazelnut, banana and citrus fruits) products of continental climate: (grain and sugar-beet root) products of a mediterranean climate: (cotton, olive, fig and various fruits) are all produced in our country.

As a result, we also have many factories to process those agricultural products.

The climate on Agean and Mediterranean shores of Turkey is very famous for its sea and summertime tourism. Great investments in this sector have made summer tourism one of the most important industies in the Turkish economy.

The rich tradition of Turkish cuisine is popular throughout the world. It includes a wide variety of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres known everywhere as “meze”, a wide selection of grilled meats(kebab), sea food, stuffed and wrapped vegetables (dolma), savory pastries ( börek), pilav and dishes with olive oil and butter as well as a wide variety of desserts, inculding Turkish delight, baklava, helva, kadayıf and several puddings.

A good meal naturally ends with fine Turkish coffee.

Cappadocia

Cappadocia means” country of beautiful horses” in Persian language.

The territory was formed by the lava and ashes from the Erciyes and Hasandağı volcanos 60 million years ago. Human settlement dates back to the paleolithic age.
