SouthShoreConnect.ca The Kids FairPlay FUNd is a confidenal sport, recreaon and cultural funding assistance program set up to reduce financial barriers for Shelburne County kids and youth under the age of 19. Informaon and applicaons are available from the Recreaon Departments in Shelburne Co. and can be downloaded from the Recreaon & Parks secon of www.municipalityofshelburne.ca. This program works in cooperaon with Canadian Tire Jumpstart. The Municipality of Shelburne’s Recreaon & Parks Department is proud to be a HIGH FIVE member and is commied to achieving high quality programming and safety standards in children’s recreaon and sport programming. SouthShoreConnect.ca is a one-stop online resource for all recreaonal, physical acvity and sport opportunies across the South Shore. With a database that is searchable by locaon, interest and organizaon, as well as news and events, residents can find the right acvity for them and their families. Visit www.southshoreconnect.ca PROGRAM PICK UP & DROP OFF CAMP CHECKLIST DEPARTMENT POLICIES Staff are on site 30 minutes before camp starts and will remain on site unl the last child is picked up. Upon request, staff can be on site as early as 8am for drop-off and 5pm for pick-up. Children are supervised the enre me they are at camp. Prepare for a day outside Wear appropriate footwear (sneakers are recommended for most programs) and clothing for the acvity you are aending Apply sunscreen before you come to camp Bring a bathing suit & towel When aending an all day camp bring lunch, at least two snacks and LOTS of water to drink When aending a half day camp bring snacks and LOTS of water to drink Please do not send cell phones and other electronic devices to camp with children, unless it’s for an emergency or an assistive device. Sun Safety Policy - Municipal Recreaon staff will take measures to protect program parcipants against the harmful effects of the sun.
