Lgnrrss is a two-cell 4-axle railcar designed to carry ISO 1 and 45ft containers. The wagon meets the TSI WAGregulations, valid UIC regulations and International Wagon Regulations for European goods wagons (TEN) up toa maximum load of 22,5 ton per axle.The freight wagon Lgnrrss is conceived as a two-cell non-separable wagon held together via a connecting rod/720-00079-00/ which carries over the drawing and tractive powers. The wagon is equipped with Knorr brakes. The calculation of the kinematical outline was done in accordance with the regulation TSI WAG and UIC 505-1. The loading schemas are a part of the technical drawing.

The wagon allows for transport of following container types:

• 1. design group: ISO 1 40ft, 30ft, 2 x 20ft, 20ft LT-N-003-00-00-00-0• 2. design group: 45ft + ISO 1 40ft, 30ft, 2 x 20ft, 20ft LT-N-001-00-00-00-0

SPECIFIC DESIgN FEATuRES 1. UndercarriageThe wagon is equipped with UIC Niesky 2 bogies with composite braking blocks „K“, configuration Bg, type Cosid 810 for a maxi-mum load of 22,5 ton per axle. Because of the high performance of the brake of the KE-GP-A max 72t the Lgnrrss type of wagon is intended for express freight trains that travel with speed up to 120 km/h with brake regime P which means up to 80 axles or 20 wagons.

2. Underbody frameworkThe underbody framework of the Lgnrrs wagon has a welded construction. It consists of two outer parabolic side-sills connected via crossbeams, crossheads and the wagon floor. The main crossbeam has a box patterned cross-section.

3. Buffering and drawing gearThe wagon is equipped with drawing gear with the hardness of 1350 kN. The drawing gear fulfills the requirements for interchan-geability according to UIC 520. The wagon is equipped with two buffers of the category C with the elevation of 105 mm on both front walls in accordance with UIC 526-1 able to absorb 20kJ of dynamic force. Buffer head with the dimensions 450x340 mm and a diameter of the spherical surface R = 2750 mm meets UIC 527-1. The interactivity of the drawing gear with the buffers fulfills the norm UIC 520, art. 2.3 as is documented by the calculation according to ERRI B36 RP32.

4. BrakeBraking system KNORR KE-GP-A max 72t (K) is equipped with automated equipment for braking according to the current load, meeting the requirements of the regulation UIC 541-04 and UIC 543. Each wagon cell uses its own self-actuated braking system. The brake is calculated and dimensioned for composite braking blocks „K“, configuration Bg, type Corsid 810.

5. Trafficability of the wagonThe wagon is constructed to be used under following conditions:• as a self-standing wagon, under any load can pass through a minimal curve radius of R = 75 m• as a coupled wagon (in a train set) under any load is able to pass unimpaired through a curve with a radius of R = 150 m• the wagon is able to pass a sea-ferry ramp with a ramp breakover angle of 2°30´ and a curve with R ≥ 75m• the wagon can pass through a shunting slope with a profile according to TSI and UIC 522

6. Solidity and welding of the wagonThe wagon meets the requirements on solidity defined in TSI 01/16 - ST04CS07 WAG and in EN 12 663. The wagon has been classified as FII. Marking of welding seams on the drawings, cants, quality of welding seams, the welding program and welding material, welding supervision and the requirements for the personnel responsible for welding are all in accordance with the norm EN 15085.

7. Coat of paint and markingsAll markings and symbols are done in accordance with TSI WAG and are done individually according to the wishes of the custo-mer.
